5 Rocks Pirates Members Who Became Yonko Level

The Rocks Pirates were a legendary crew, led by Rocks D. Xebec. They were a powerful bunch, sir their own shortcoming being their lack of unity, which led to their eventual downfall. This crew had numerous strong members, a bunch of whom went on to become Yonko themselves, and some others who reached a level similar to the Yonko of the One Piece world.

Shiki

The Captain of the Golden Lion Pirates

Golden Lion Shiki is one of the most prominent members of the Rocks Pirates. He is a legendary pirate, and even before fans knew he was with the Rocks Pirates, he was quite an incredible figure. After all, Shiki was the very first person to successfully escape from the most secure prison in the One Piece world, Impel Down.

Shiki, while not really present in the current timeline, is definitely a pirate on the level of a Yonko, especially with his Devil Fruit, the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. Fans saw a bit of his potential in the Strong World movie, although it isn’t a good representation of his true power.

Silver Axe

Shiki’s Biggest Rival

Silver Axe is another peculiar member of the Rocks Pirates. However, at the moment, not much is known about him. It has even been a popular fan theory that he is in leagues with the Marines, as his demeanor is quite similar to X Drake.

It’s hard to tell just how strong he is, but seeing as he is Shiki’s biggest rival, it’s fair to say that he should be around his power level. This would also make him a potential Yonko-level character.

Kaido

Kaido was one of the most fearsome pirates of the One Piece world, a Yonko of the Sea, commanding the Beast Pirates. He only recently went down in Onigashima against Luffy’s ultimate form, Gear 5.

Kaido, however, wasn’t always this strong. Back in his days as a Rocks Pirate, he wasn’t among the strongest. After all, back then, he was just a teenager without a Devil Fruit. His Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu was a massive upgrade and he received it all thanks to Linlin.

Big Mom

Big Mom has been one of the most dangerous pirates of the One Piece world for a few decades now. She was also one of the Four Emperors, but just like Kaido, she was defeated in Onigashima.

Unlike Kaido, Big Mom was almost always a force of nature. Even as a kid, she was extremely dangerous, and as a Rocks pirate, she was actually one of their top members. Her Soru Soru no Mi and monstrous strength really made her stand out from the rest.

Whitebeard

• Devil Fruit: Gura Gura no Mi

Whitebeard was known as the World’s Strongest Man, and for very good reasons. Whitebeard became one of the Yonko after the Rocks Era, and even in extreme old age and sickness, he was still able to wreck the Navy at Marineford.

Whitebeard was definitely not a pirate to mess with, as his Gura Gura no Mi offered some of the most destructive powers of the One Piece world, being strong enough to destroy the whole world. Among the Rocks Pirates back then, he was only weaker than Rocks himself.
