In Genshin Impact, Aino is a character that almost everyone will eventually access. She’s given out for free as part of the Nod-Krai Archon Quest. Interestingly, Aino also has the distinct honor of filling in the last element-weapon combination in the game, being a Hydro claymore user — the first one!
Players looking to make use of Aino’s combat and exploration skills will need quite a few items to ascend her and upgrade her talents. Most of them are found in Nod-Krai, but a few can be farmed in other parts of Teyvat.

Defeating some more Landcruisers is necessary for Aino’s talents, too, as the Drive Shafts they drop are used in both talent and ascension costs.

Where to Find All of Aino’s Materials
Gemstones – Where to Find Varunada Lazurite
As mentioned, Aino fills the final gap in Genshin’s element-weapon combinations, being a Hydro claymore user. As such, she’ll need some Varunada Lazurite in her ascension. This Hydro gem can be found in a variety of ways, but the vast majority of it is most easily obtained by defeating bosses. The bosses (and trounces) that can drop Varunada Lazurite are as follows:
*Both the Primo Geovishap and Azhdaha can only drop Varunada Lazurite when they are infused with Hydro.
Local Specialty – Where to Find Portable Bearings
A local specialty of Nod-Krai, Portable Bearings fit with the mechanical theme of almost all of Aino’s materials. These discarded pieces of machinery are found on Lempo Isle, mostly around Aino’s own Krumkake Craftshop, but also Barrowmoss Barrens and near Blue Amber Lake.
Boss Drop – How to Get Precision Kuuvahki Stamping Die
This item, which is only obtainable from the Knuckle Duckle boss fight, is the boss item Aino uses. This boss is actual a machine created by Aino herself. It can be found south of Aino’s workshop on Lempo Isle.
Enemy Drop – Where to Find Landcruisers
These Drive Shafts are only dropped by the various types of Landcruisers, which, as of now, are only found in Nod-Krai. At higher levels, they can drop better items:

Talent Books – Elysium
The Elysium talent books are one of three available from Nod-Krai’s Lightless Capital domain, and the series used by Aino. Find these books in this domain on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Trounce Materials – Silken Feather
One of the only items Aino uses that can be found outside of Nod-Krai is her trounce material, used in her talent upgrades. Her’s is the Silken Feather, dropped by The Knave inside the Scattered Ruins trounce domain. This challenge is unlocked by clearing Arlecchino’s Story Quest. However, players who have reached AR 40 can challenge it in solo mode with the Quick Challenge function if they have not yet completed the Story Quest.
