Big-Wheel Balloon Hunt in Donkey Kong Bananza is the third challenge course in Canyon Layer, the third major Layer of the game. In this stage, you’ll need to not only find and pop five balloons while moving on a spinning wheel made out of dirt, but there are three bananas to find, two of which aren’t super easy to locate.
You can always find the balloons and take one banana as a reward and leave, but you can use this DK Bananza guide if you would like to find all three Banandium Gems in Big-Wheel Balloon Hunt.
Lagoon Layer SL102 holds 5 Banandium Gems, some easy, others well hidden. Here’s how to find all.
Where to Find All Bananas in Big-Wheel Balloon Hunt in DK Bananza
Balloon Locations – Banana 1
You’ll see the sealed challenge room on SL300 as soon as you land on Big-Stretch Peak for the first time. Just use Pauline’s singing voice to open it.
To get the first balloon in Big-Wheel Balloon Hunt, you’ll spot it right at the bottom of the wheel. For the second one, climb on the wheel and head up and to the right.
For the third one, reach the top middle part of the wheel. The fourth one is located at the top of the wheel. And the last one is on the left side, but you’ll need to do a double jump (Jump Shot) from underneath to reach it. Once you pop the balloons, the first Banandium Gem will appear at the front of the course.
Banana 2
For the second banana, it’s actually hidden underneath the dirt wheel. Just stand at the bottom of it and jump with the A button, then press B in the air to break the dirt and enter a room below containing the hidden Banandium Gem.
Banana 3
For the last banana, you’re going to want to climb over to the right side of the spinning wheel and then move the camera so that you can see the side of the main structure. You should see some panels on the side that are darker than usual, which means DK can grab them and climb to the right. You’ll find a little hole with the banana inside.
