How to Get the Kamehameha in Fortnite

Kamehameha in a chest

The Kamehameha is only in Battle Royale and Zero Build, and players can obtain it through Chests and Floor Loot. There are no other ways, nor vendors, that will sell the Kamehameha, so players will have to rely purely on RNG. Chests are the safest way to get the Kamehameha and the most reliable. Rare Chests will have a greater chance to spawn the Kamehameha, so look to places like Supernova Academy, which has plenty of loot spots, or try safer areas like Brutal Boxcars and Foxy Floodgate, which also have plenty of chests and will not be as popular as Supernova Academy when it comes to landing spots.

What Does the Kamehameha Do in Fortnite?

The Kamehameha has 3 charges, and when players activate it, they will launch into the air and remain still as they charge a powerful beam of Ki energy. If the beam makes contact with another player, it deals 100 damage, and if they remain in the beam, it’s 40 damage every second. The Kamehameha is extremely powerful for taking out structures, vehicles, and for dealing continued damage to enemies as you control the beam with the Mouse on keyboard or the Right Stick on controller. Players will have a total of 3 charges with the Kamehameha, with a 15-second cooldown between each of them.

For players worried about coming up against the Kamehameha, they don’t need to be too concerned. The Kamehameha can easily be countered through concentrated fire, so as soon as you hear the Kamehameha, locate the target and start hitting headshots with a DMR for effective damage, since those in the Kamehameha cannot move, meaning their head is an exposed and still target to shoot at.
