All Story Quests In Fantasy Life I (Chapter List)

Fantasy Life I is filled to the brim with story quests that players will discover as they progress through the game and meet new NPCs along the way.

Life Tutorial Quests

There are a total of 14 lives that players can attain in Fantasy Life I, all with different abilities that aid throughout the adventure. Once you unlock a life, you’ll have an opportunity to play a tutorial quest to learn the mechanics of said life and meet new NPCs in the process.

While these quests are short and sweet, skipping these will still allow players to rank up to Fledgling. However, these tutorial missions are not replayable, and players will miss out on a sizable chunk of content for the game.

Phantom Friendship Achievement

Fantasy Life i Update Patch Notes Switch 2

There’s an achievement called Phantom Friendship in Fantasy Life I that requires players to travel with the Phantom version of buddies at least ten times.

Players will encounter the Phantom version of Buddies during their journey through the world. While these buddies don’t level up, all XP they earn is transferred over to the main character itself, boosting the overall XP gain.

While players can still encounter Phantom Buddies, even after reverting them to their true form, hanging out with the Phantom versions can become an afterthought after that. This could lead to you missing out on this achievement.

Fort Gardhart Dungeon

Fort Gardhart is an optional dungeon located in the West Greatgut Plains of Ginormosia. Considering this dungeon is a bit tricky to get into as it requires you to complete all 20 shrines of light, players may skip this for the time being to focus on other tasks.

Completing this fort is rather important as it directly impacts the final boss fight of the game. If players start the final quest without completing this dungeon, the final boss encounter will become a lot harder to deal with. So, make sure to complete this dungeon whenever you have the chance.
