Baldur’s Gate 3, the highly rated RPG from 2023, has reached a historical low price of $44.99 on Steam for a limited time. Being a continually popular title, Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t see its price dip too much, making the ongoing sale an attractive proposition.
Larian Studios’ magnum opus, Baldur’s Gate 3, is as decorated a video game as they come. Since launch, the Dungeons & Dragons title has added over 30 award recognitions to its collection, including 2023’s Game of the Year at The Game Awards. However, its best days may not necessarily be limited to yesteryear, as Baldur’s Gate 3 still attracts close to 100K concurrent players every month on Steam alone. For those who have been on the fence about this fantasy title, now may be a good time to pull the trigger, thanks to its reduced price.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Price on Steam Reaches Historical Low
As part of an ongoing promotion, Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for $44.99, a 25% drop from its usual $59.99 price, on Steam. This is the lowest price tag ever for the award-winning RPG, whose previous historical low was $47.99 with a 20% discount, on Valve’s storefront. Importantly, those interested have until September 8, 10AM PT, to get their hands on this special deal. Moreover, per SteamDB data, the latest price drop comes after nearly a two-month run without any discount, which is the longest of its kind in 2025. Prior to this, Baldur’s Gate 3 had been getting a 20% discount every month since November 2024.

For those accustomed to Steam’s major annual sales, 25% off may not be that big of a slashed price. But, keeping in mind that Baldur’s Gate 3 is still very popular and is not showing any signs of decline even two years after release, it may not be a bad decision for potential buyers to make the most of the current offer. For those who are fond of Dungeons & Dragons, this statement may be especially true.
In other news, Larian Studios has been working hard on the next chapter, which involves two new games. Back in April, Founder-CEO Swen Vincke had described the Baldur’s Gate 3 developer’s upcoming title as “crazy ambitious” and had revealed that it was progressing “quite well,” giving fans something new to look forward to. However, when exactly an announcement on this front may be made is anyone’s guess right now.
