Description

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers gives players multiple weapon types that will greatly determine how they fight in combat. Respecing in this game is free and can be done at any time at a Shrine, incentivizing extensive testing of the various weapons, as the right build will make any weapon deal significant damage.

Dual Blades focuses on dealing damage with bursts of attacks that hit quickly but deal less damage per hit than most of the other weapon types in the game. Here is the best overall build for those using Dual Blades, including the optimal skills to utilize and the best stats to ensure you level up as frequently as possible.

Best Stats to Upgrade for Dual Swords in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

By far the most important stat to focus on is Agility, with the second stat being Endurance. Agility will usually be the highest scaling stat on every Dual Blades weapon. Some Dual Blades weapons will have a second stat that scales the damage of the weapon, but the agility scaling will always be better, making it the better skill to focus on.

Fighting with Dual Blades will also require a lot of attacks and stamina to dish them out, making it important to have a high stamina pool. This weapon type will ultimately use the most stamina, but also offers a lot of ways to earn it back through combat.

Best Disciplines for Dual Blades in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

There are multiple disciplines to choose from out of the Dual Blades skill tree, with others being tied to specific weapons. Of those out of the skill tree, you’ll want to use either of the following:

Blade Dance offers some decent crowd control, while still being a controlled enough combo to use against a boss. Blade Master’s real appeal comes from the boost in your Clash efficiency, as clashing is a key aspect of this weapon type. While not disciplines, you’ll want to make sure you get the Mighty Combination and Swift Warrior upgrades in the tree to boost your basic combos and get Skyborn Might.

Benedictions & Temperances for Dual Blades in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

The most important Benedictions you can get for this weapon type are those that keep you alive, or those that boost your Clash in some way. You’ll be Clashing a lot as you fight through enemy attacks, and your Benedictions should help you win out in those Clashes to let them give you more of an edge against your enemy.

Wisdom: Wei – Combo Force

Consecutive attacks increase your damage.

Oath: Bu – Skyborn Ward

Skyborn Might reduces damage taken for a time.

Oath: Bu – Blocking Clash

Increases the efficiency of clashes and blocks.

Memory: Sheng – Skyborn Rejuvenation

Gaining SKyborn Might grants Leech Life for a short time.

The goal of Dual Blades is to just focus on attacking as much as you can, and try to time your clashes as often as possible, but they will usually land on their own. Against most enemies, you’ll win out in the exchange, and with the right buffs and damage, you’ll quickly fill up an enemies’ obliterate bar if not kill them outright.

For your Temperance, you’ll either want one that hits the elemental weakness of the enemy or the Leech Life option. This weapon type will have a lot of exchanges in a fight, and having something that gives you health back naturally in those exchanges will help you stay up and at it during them.
