Description

Every season in Cookie Run: Kingdom welcomes a few new cookies into the game’s ever-growing roster. The constantly expanding list of cookies in the game makes it almost overwhelming for every newcomer player, especially when it comes to finding the best possible builds. Knowing that even changing a build in Cookie Run: Kingdom costs in-game currency, players need to be careful with their choices before they lose some hard-earned resources.

While Legendary, Ancient, and Beast cookies are always the top priority for building a squad, Epic and Super Epic cookies are also worth investing resources into earlier in the game. They’re also worth building for backup squads in game modes like Cookie Alliance. The new Cream Soda Cookie might not seem like a top priority at first glance, but putting her next to a bunch of Water-type cookies will prove her value. Here’s how to use this cookie to her maximum potential.

Cream Soda Cookie Build - Cookie Run Kingdom

Cream Soda cookie is a frontline damage dealer categorized under Charge. That’s why the cookie’s main abilities are all focused on dealing damage to the enemies, especially in PvE modes. This makes her an ideal candidate for climbing the Crispia stages.

Cream Soda’s main ability consists of a triple strike on enemies, with each attack dealing more damage than the last. The devastating third strike increases the damage dealt to PvE enemies by over 500%, which is quite amazing for a cookie of Epic rarity. All the damage dealt in the triple strike is of the Water type.

After performing her Cream Soda Blade move with the triple strike, the cookie will earn the After School Training buff. This will apply a variety of temporary improvements to Cream Soda and all the other Water-type cookies in the squad:

  • First Slash DMG (Water-type): 102%
  • Second Slash DMG (Water-type): 115.4%
  • Third Slash DMG (Water-type): 174% + 355% additional damage to enemies in PvE modes
  • CRIT%: +16% for 10 seconds; doesn’t stack
  • Water-type ATK DMG: +30% for 10 seconds; doesn’t stack
  • Water-type DMG: +17.5% for 15 seconds; stacks up to 2 times
  • After School Training: DMG + 198.6% with regular attacks for 15 seconds
  • ATK SPD: +35% for 15 seconds; doesn’t stack
Cream Soda Raspberry Build - Cookie Run Kingdom

For a Charge cookie, plenty of options in a topping build can pay off well, but it’s always best to consider the cookie’s main abilities as well as its strengths and weaknesses. For the Cream Soda cookie, the first priority is to improve her damage output. This can be done in different ways, but the easiest way is to fill up all slots with fully upgraded Searing Raspberry toppings of Epic quality.

Alternatively, Cream Soda’s ability stats also reveal a high potential for investing in CRIT%. By default, the cookie has 5% of CRIT%, and it gains +16% of the same stat after performing the Cream Soda Blade. If you add a few Juicy Apple Jellies to the topping combo, this will help Cream Soda deal critical damage during the buff period.

Maintaining a balance between the number of Searing Raspberry and Juicy Apple Jelly depends on your preference. If you want to achieve a similar buff from both toppings, apply three Searing Raspberries and two Juicy Apple Jellies. Pick a topping tart of Apple Juicy Jelly, and you should get nearly a 30% boost on both ATK and CRIT%.

With this build, the overall CRIT% value during the 15 seconds of After School Training buff will ramp up to over 50%, allowing Cream Soda Cookie to deal critical damage more often than regular damage.

Cream Soda Cookie Almond Topping - Cookie Run Kingdom

Cream Soda is a front-line cookie, which means she will deal with incoming damage from enemies more than any other cookie in the squad. That’s why increasing DMG Resist is a wise option to improve Cream Soda’s survivability during battles. This build is more defensive-focused, but it still helps the cookie’s overall performance.

For this build, use two pieces of Solid Almond toppings along with a topping tart of the same flavor. Assuming all pieces are of epic rarity and fully upgraded, this will boost the cookie’s DMG Resist by over 20%.

Cookie Run Kingdom: Best Awakened Hollyberry Build

Hollyberry is one of the best damage absorbers in Cookie Run: Kingdom. Here’s the best build to make the most of her potential.

Next, add two pieces of Swift Chocolate for nearly 10% Cooldown reduction. The primary cooldown for Cream Soda’s ability is 14 seconds, so this will reduce that time by almost 1.4 seconds. Last but not least, drop one Searing Raspberry in the remaining spot. A 10% boost in the ATK might not seem big, but it will go a long way when combined with the ATK boost coming from the Beascuit.

Depending on your preference, you can customize this build. If you prefer more attack-heavy buffs, try changing the topping tart to Searing Raspberry as well. Regardless, this build is already quite balanced.

Cream Soda Cookie Beascuit - Cookie Run Kingdom

Equipping a Beascuit is crucial for the Cream Soda cookie, especially because her base ATK at Level 30 is around 4,000, which is not a massive number. Knowing that Beascuit grants ATK and DEF boosts, updating the Beascuit’s level is strongly suggested.

Depending on the rarity of the Beascuit used on the Cream Soda cookie, the amount of base boost will be different. If you manage to reach a 20% or 30% ATK boost, that will be a great improvement, especially when used along with the Searing Raspberry and Apple Juicy Jelly topping build.

What Cookies Are Best To Use With Cream Soda?

Best Cream Soda Teammates - Cookie Run Kingdom

When it comes to finding the best teammates for Cream Soda, your top priority must be Water-type cookies. Thanks to the After School Training buff provided by Cream Soda, any Water-type cookie can live up to their true potential next to her. The good news is that you can build an entire squad of water element cookies, as there are some good options for every line.

Black Pearl and Sea Fairy can fill in the middle line, while Crimson Coral can take a front line spot along with Cream Soda. This makes for a superb combo in the front, as Crimson Coral is a Defense cookie and will help even more with protecting her allies. It’s also worth noting that, Cream Soda’s buff has a doubling effect on Crimson Coral. The latter applies a portion of her Water-type damage as a shield over two allies. Since Cream Soda grants a Water-type ATK buff to allies, this will eventually increase the amount of shields received by the teammates as well.

On the rear line, the Peppermint cookie can be a decent option. This cookie deals damage, but also heals allies corresponding to a portion of its damage. With the presence of Cream Soda, both the amounts of damage and healing will be improved, allowing Peppermint to perform significantly better on the rear line.

Still, the rear line could use a much stronger option. It’s okay to deviate from the Water-type in this particular spot, as cookies like Fire Spirit or Mystic Flour are powerful enough to overshadow Peppermint with all of its water-related buffs.
