Season 5 of Black Ops 6 is off to a strong start, bringing with it a fresh wave of content that many would argue is better than what we saw in Season 4. Multiplayer fans can jump into familiar battlegrounds like W.M.D., explore new locales such as Runway, and take on a roster of unique modes, including Aim High and Snipers Only.

The biggest draw for Season 5, however, is the arrival of new weapons. Some can be unlocked right away at launch, while others are spread across the season. Keeping with the trend of strong close-range weapons, the KSV has been a go-to choice for quite some time now. While its range falls short compared to options like the LC10, the KSV is still a reliable and noteworthy weapon to run.

Ever since its introduction back in Season 3, the CR-56 AMAX has been one of the best Assault Rifles in the game. While it has shifted in and out of the meta in Warzone, it remains a consistent top contender in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer.

When it comes to time-to-kill and effective damage range, it’s solid, performing excellently in both mid-range and long-distance encounters. However, the Kilo 141 makes up for it with dependability, boasting very little recoil that makes it snappy and accurate from range.
