Marvel Rivals’ Season 3 features menacing and otherworldly skins, reflecting the chaos theme.
Skin highlights include Adam Warlock’s vibrant design, Spider-Man’s black suit, and Wolverine’s fiery upgrade.
Unique skins like Symbiote Raccoon and Squirrel Girl offer a dark and creative twist on beloved characters.
Marvel Rivals is about to enter its third season, and while that means two brand-new heroes will be joining the fight, there’s also going to be plenty of exciting skins up for grabs as part of the new battle pass. This time around, the overall theme of Season 3 seems to be chaos, feeding into the character of Jean Grey, who will be joining the cast alongside Blade. As a result, many of these skins are very menacing and even otherworldly in their presentation, allowing them to each look different when compared to any of the outfits that have come before.
A new season of Marvel Rivals means a new wave of battle pass skins, and it’s fair to say thatNetEase has gone all-out with designs this time around.
As Marvel Rivals fans have come to expect, some of these skins are little more than color swaps, but there are still many others that provide characters with an entire makeover to drastically change their appearance. Needless to say, NetEase has once again gone all out by creating an eye-catching new batch of skins for players to enjoy. Here’s a look at how they each rank in terms of their design and visual aesthetic.

King In White
Adam Warlock Shines Bright With This Vibrant Skin
In stark contrast to a lot of the skins seen in Season 3, Adam Warlock’s new outfit is bright, flashy, and extremely colorful, which does make sense considering the character in question is a purified healer. It’s easy to get distracted by the shiny shoulder blades and sparkling staff, but there are also plenty of smaller details on this skin that help bring it to life.
For example, the small golden streaks that run throughout Warlock’s body, along with the tiny ornaments attached to his wrists and legs, ensure that this feels like more than just a basic reskin. It may not be a complete overhaul of the character’s appearance, but it still does just enough to differentiate itself from the rest of Warlock’s wardrobe.

Black Suit
It’s Time For Spidey To Embrace The Darkness
This iconic outfit is one that Spider-Man fans have been clamoring for ever since Marvel Rivals first launched. Of course, this is referring to Spider-Man’s black suit, which was first introduced in the comics back in the 60s, but it really shot to mainstream popularity after the Spider-Man 3 movie. With a pitch black outfit and beady white eyes, Spidey looks pretty unnerving when embracing the Symbiote, but there’s another reason why the black suit earns a spot among the best Season 3 battle pass skins.
The world of Marvel Comics is an unforgiving place, what with these villains constantly wreaking havoc.
Similarly to Venom himself, this skin oozes Symbiote energy, literally. Players will be able to see the goo dripping off of Spider-Man as he swings around, emphasizing the idea that Peter has truly become corrupted by the dark influence. This skin really doesn’t need to go too over the top with its presentation to stand out, as it’s already considered a classic by many fans of the character.

Weapon Phoenix
Wolverine’s Fellow Mutant Provides Him With A Fiery Upgrade
Wolverine has been granted some downright incredible skins over the last few seasons, but this outfit, titled Weapon Phoenix, is definitely one of the best so far. Thanks to a little help from his fellow mutant Phoenix, Wolverine’s head, chest, and even his claws are all covered in flames, allowing him to strike even more fear into the eyes of enemy supports and tanks once he enters the battlefield.
Not only that, but he also sports a brand-new golden suit of armor to ensure that he’s fully prepared for anything that comes his way during a match. The decision to make Wolverine’s eyes blood-red is also a welcome addition that relates to the chaotic aesthetic that the skin is going for. It might not be quite as creative as the Blood Berserker skin from last season, but this is still a real standout that every Wolverine main will want to get their hands on.

Devouring Duo
Jeff Becomes A Hunger-Obsessed Monster
Even Jeff the Landshark wasn’t able to escape the Symbiote’s influence in the latest season, but to be honest, that’s far from a bad thing considering how great this little guy looks when rocking a black suit of armor. Jeff’s obsession with eating everything already makes him a little creepy, but this is taken to a whole new level thanks to this skin, which not only gives him giant white eyes, but also a spiked collar and even giant white scales covering his back.
Admittedly, NetEase had the chance to get pretty wild with this skin if they wanted to, such as giving Jeff giant fangs that would feed into the eerie vibe that the Symbiote is known for. That being said, though, not many are going to argue about an evil version of Jeff being in the game, as it does help to add some variety to his design choices.

Fiery Toast
Emma Frost Prepares A Fiery Set Of Armor For The Occasion
Emma Frost always knows how to turn up to an event in style, and that certainly applies to her new outfit that can be unlocked in Season 3. In a way, this skin feels like it calls back to the Hellfire Gala event seen back in Season 2, but thanks to the fiery phoenix that can be seen at the center of Frost’s new outfit, it ensures that the skin still falls in line with the general themes of this particular battle pass.
Countless Marvel video games have entered development over the years, but not all of them make it to store shelves.
With giant feathered shoulder pads and a sturdy set of boots and wrist guards, Emma presents herself as a dangerous warrior with this skin equipped. It definitely would have been great to see maybe a bit more built into this outfit, such as adding a few more fire motifs to the costume, but it’s ultimately still a great skin for one of the newest additions to the roster.

Symbiote Raccoon
A Symbiote-Infested Rocket Raccoon Looks As Scary As It Sounds
It was a good thing that NetEase decided to include Rocket among the characters who would receive a Symbiote skin for this season, as this is undoubtedly one of his most badass outfits to date, which is certainly saying something. The most striking part of this design is Rocket’s face, which has been turned entirely black with his eyes becoming bright white as a devious smile creeps across his face. However, that’s only the tip of the iceberg, as there’s a plethora of small details scattered across this eye-catching skin.
Rocket’s collar takes the appearance of a giant mouth that wraps around his neck, giving the impression that the suit is trying to eat him alive while he wears it. Meanwhile, his jetpack takes the form of two smaller mouths that can breathe fire, and his gatling gun is equipped with a myriad of spikes, as if it wasn’t already deadly enough. Being able to make the lovable Rocket Raccoon intimidating is no easy task, but NetEase managed to accomplish it by getting extra creative with this brand-new Symbiote attire.

Symbiote Flora
A Dark And Evil Look For The Cheerful Guardian
Groot is often considered to be one of the most happy-go-lucky characters in the Marvel universe, so to see him take on such a devious appearance is certainly a sight to behold. With the Symbiote taking over his tree-like body and spikes shooting out of his chest and shoulders, Groot looks like an absolute monster with this skin equipped, and that’s without even mentioning his face, which looks like something ripped straight out of a horror game.
While it’s one thing for a skin to change the way a character looks, what really elevates it to a new level is if it can alter the visual aesthetic of a character through their appearance alone, and that’s exactly what this outfit does. One thing is for sure: Groot’s enemies, and maybe even his teammates, may want to take a few steps back if they see this guy rocking up to the battlefield with this skin equipped.
1
Symbiote Squirrel
Squirrel Girl Takes Some Fashion Inspiration From Spidey’s Arch Nemesis
This is one of those skins that most players didn’t know they needed until it became a reality. The usually upbeat and cheerful Squirrel Girl takes some inspiration from Venom with this stylish Symbiote outfit, where her whole body is covered in the creepy black goo that is usually associated with Spider-Man’s well-known nemesis. However, there are some neat features to this outfit that make it clear that it’s still Squirrel Girl underneath the dark and menacing attire.
For example, she still has her large pink pointed ears, which provide a nice color contrast to the rest of the outfit, and while she also carries over her big bushy tail, it has been transformed into a giant mouth that is ready to bite the head off anyone who gets a little too close. It’s clear that NetEase put a lot of work into completely changing Squirrel Girl’s aesthetic and vibe with this brand-new battle pass skin, making it the star of the show for the latest season.
