EA Sports College Football 26 received a new update just a few days after the game’s launch on July 10. The new EA Sports College Football 26 update addresses some lingering issues that have affected the game since launch, including one that negatively impacts the performance of linebackers.

After more than a decade of inactivity, the College Football series returned with the release of last year’s EA Sports College Football 25. Although some fans were initially skeptical about the series becoming yearly once more, EA put an end to fears about another hiatus when the company announced EA Sports College Football 26 back in January. EA Sports College Football 26 was released on July 10 to positive critical reception, with the game now sitting at an 85 Metascore on Metacritic at the time of this writing. Although critical reviews of the game are mostly positive thus far, players have run into various technical issues, and EA has begun to release various updates to address the problems that players have encountered.
