Courier Rasher Route Guide In Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong is not only hard against strong enemies and bosses, but it also offers a variety of hardships when it comes to map exploration. One of these encounters is when Hornet comes across a quest to deliver a Courier’s Rasher from Bellhart to Choral Chambers. It’s part of the Great Taste of Pharloom quest. So, here’s everything you need to know about Courier’s Rasher quest in Silksong, including where to find it and how to deliver it.

Courier’s Rasher Location In Silksong

To find the Courier’s Rasher, travel to Bellhart and interact with Tipp and Pill​​​​. You can find them on top of Frey’s shop, in Bellhart. If you can’t find Tipp and Pill there, it means Hornet hasn’t saved them yet. So, make sure to finish My Missing Courier and My Missing Brother Wayfarer quests in Silksong first. Both quests should be available on Bellhart’s Wishwall.

Once Hornet gets the Courier’s Rasher in Bellhart, she needs to deliver it to Loyal Mergwin, located in the Choral Chambers​​. Unlike the other deliveries Tipp and Pill give Hornet, this one has a timer. However, the rest is the same, as you can’t use fast travel or take a lot of damage. That makes for a very challenging combo, and will definitely need a lot of planning before starting the journey to deliver the Courier’s Rasher in Silksong.

How To Deliver Courier’s Rasher In Silksong

To deliver the Courier’s Rasher to Loyal Mergwin without failing, you need to pick a safe road with a minimum number of enemies and parkour puzzles. Unfortunately, all the roads are going to be dangerous, or it won’t be one of the most challenging things to do in Silksong.

However, the safest road is from Bellhart, going through Shellwood, climbing the hard terrain of Blasted Steps, reaching Choral Chambers, and delivering the Courier’s Rasher to Loyal Mergwin in Silksong.

Since this is going to be really hard to do in one go, here are some tips for how to deliver the Courier’s Rasher:

• Equip the
  Ascendant’s Grip
  tool, as it helps Hornet stick to walls.
• Equip the
  Silkspeed Anklets
  tool, as it increases Hornet’s running speed.
• Equip the
  Weavelight
  tool, as Hornet will use a lot of Silk during the run.
• Get the Clawline Skill to hook and dash faster.
• Get the Faydown Cloak Skill to double jump.
• Make sure to open all the shortcuts along the way. These are marked in this article; you can scroll down to make sure you’re prepared.
• Enter the menu map instead of checking the mini-map during the delivery. The menu map will pause the game, giving you all the time you need to check it.
• Defeat all the enemies along the way, so they don’t deal any unwanted damage. (Optional. If you do this, don’t rest on the bench when you need a retry)

Bellhart and Shellwood

Starting from Tipp and Pill’s location, move right to the elevator that leads to Bellhart’s second floor. Then get to Shellwood from the first exit on the second floor.

Once you make it out, be careful of the flower (Gahlia) enemy above. Jump to the branch to the left and move left, attacking the vines blocking the way. Then move up, going through the branches, until you reach the top, where there’s a road to the left.

After that, keep running left, avoiding enemies from area to area until you reach Blasted Steps.

Blasted Steps

Blasted Steps is the most complicated part of this Courier’s Rasher since it’s filled with enemies and parkour. There’s no way to avoid them, so Hornet needs to push through them. When entering Blasted Steps, climb the first hole Hornet encounters and keep following the way to reach the first bench in Blasted Steps.

Go left and jump to the first platform. Immediately after reaching it, jump up to the rock above it. Then use the shortcut platform on the right and skip this area’s parkour to reach the higher ground.

This shortcut requires you to hit the lever first. If it’s not yet available, then you should first unlock the shortcut.

From here, go through the hole above Hornet and keep going right to exit the area.

In the next area, avoid the enemy that spawns and leap to the other ledge. Then jump between the wall and the floating pole to reach the top of the pole.

Now jump to the hanging cage in the middle, and keep hopping through all the cages above it.

After a few cages, you can see a hanging bell on the right side; attack it to reach the wall there and get to the rock next to it.

Jump twice, trying to reach the highest Hornet can reach, then shoot a hook at the cage to the left. If this method is too hard, you can still go to the other side for an easier climb. After that, move again between the cages and obstacles, taking Hornet up, closer to her destination.

In the last area, before having a few areas of peaceful running, immediately jump to the wall above Hornet and target the cage after. Keep going to the right side, leaping from one floating rock to another, until reaching the two hanging bells at the end. Hit them to bounce onto the wall, then onto the rock next to it.

This is one of the most important parts, as two enemies are blocking Hornet’s way to reach the bell above them. There are two ways to pass this part:

• Jump-attack the shielded (Judge) enemy to reach the bell.
• Avoid the enemy by leaping over them and head to the rock on the left. It will provide a safe jump to the bell to reach the upper ledge.

From the other side, leap twice, then hook the rock on the right side to avoid most of this area’s parkour.

Then, for this final part, target the bell on the left to bounce to the wall, then target the second bell to reach the upper ledge. After that, it’s safe to keep running to Grand Gate.

Grand Gate and Choral Chambers

Inside the Grand Gate, Hornet can parkour her way up into a shortcut that leads directly to the Choral Chambers, without having to go through the Underworks area. The only way out of this small room is up, putting Hornet in the Choral Chambers. From there, it’s easy to jump around the area, aiming to reach the Ventrica chamber above. Try to avoid enemies, as some of them are blocking the way.

This shortcut from Grand Gate to Choral Chambers must be opened beforehand.

When reaching the Ventrica chamber, don’t go from the right side, as it’s filled with enemies and hard parkour puzzles. Instead, go left since there’s a hidden shortcut and barely any enemies blocking the path.

This shortcut to the Citadel Spa must be unlocked beforehand.

Keep climbing all the obstacles until Hornet reaches the exit chamber that leads to the Slab in Silksong. From there, keep moving to the right side while barely meeting any enemies to reach the Loyal Mergwin’s chamber and deliver the Courier’s Rasher.
