Throughout the Traveler‘s journey in Cronos: The New Dawn, extracting one target after the next, they will come across a few cats who lead the player into a room with numerous resources. The player can also pet these feline creatures to add them to the journal and receive a reward from the cats, which is mostly a core required for suit upgrades.

Mela | Head for the Dive Point | After acquiring the Boltcutters, head back to the square next to the Hardware Store and make your way to the area you originally came from. There will be a locked door you can open to find the cat inside. The cat gives you the Traveler’s Seal Key. |
Karol | Find the Target: Edward Wisniewski | After acquiring the Shelter Key, leave the area and follow the cat to the playground on the right. The cat gives you a Core. |
Cynamon | Head for the Steelworks in Sector A-11 | After activating both generators for the tram, go to the door opposite the tram to find the cat inside. The cat gives you a Core. |
Merlin | Head for the Dive Point | After you get the Gravity Boots, you will have a section where you can do several gravity jumps. You will land on a pad where you can take the path downward and go up. The path upward is the one you want to take, which leads to the cat. You will get a Core after petting the cat. |
Balbina | Launch the Ascendance Sequence | After finding the switchgear and turning it on, you can go back the way you came to find a door on your left that is now open. Inside is the cat, and you will get a Core. |
Gus | Head to the hospital in Sector A-0 | During this objective, you will have a section with multiple gravity jumps. Progress until you can spot a gravity jump on your left that is obstructed by a few wooden planks. Shoot them and jump. This will allow you to reach the cat, who gives you a Core. |
Bebola | Prepare the toxin | Inside Operations Block, which is accessible from Wing B, you can go up the stairs to find a locked door that requires card access. Go straight, dealing with the numerous enemies, and to your right, you can find a metal cabinet that can be moved. Head through the door on the right to find the cat. You will get a core for this. You can also find the Vasculum right next to the cat, which is required for the Altar puzzle in the Chapel. |
India | Power up the tram | While trying to activate the second generator, you will come across an electronic panel on the wall. In the same room, there is a gap you can squeeze through to reach the cat, and you will get the Toy Store Key once you pet it. |
Freya | Head for the Dive Point | When you are trying to find a way to open the church door, you will spot a cat running across. You can use your Boltcutters to open the gate and turn right to spot a crawlspace. Go through to find the cat, and after petting it, you will get the Rusty Key, which opens Father Wojciech’s Office. |
