kingdom come deliverance 2 new update june 2025 patch notes

It’s been over six months since Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched to critical acclaim, cementing itself as a strong Game of the Year contender. The massive single-player RPG might not have the same replayability as online titles, but its continued release of new DLCs and content updates has kept fans engaged for over half a year now. After launching Brushes with Death back in May, Warhorse is now gearing up to release the second Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC, Legacy of the Forge. But for those who won’t be checking out the DLC, Warhorse is still giving fans plenty of reason to jump back in with another free update.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Making Big Photo Mode Changes

With Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s next DLC on the horizon, fans will be pleased to know that a free update will also be launching alongside it. The upcoming patch will be released on September 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Although the official patch notes are likely to arrive only with the update’s release, Warhorse Studios has given fans a sneak peek at some significant photo mode changes coming to the game next month. A recent developer live stream also provided fans with a more in-depth look, revealing all the new settings that will be available in photo mode with the next update.

One new setting, for example, will allow players to adjust the time of day when in photo mode, as well as the position of the sun, to achieve the specific shadows they desire. There are plenty of new lighting settings for fans to experiment with in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s updated photo mode, and even a new option to add logos to photos. There will also be hundreds of bug fixes and improvements, according to the devs. During the recent live stream, a new Adaptive HUD setting was also revealed, which, when enabled, will automatically hide UI elements that aren’t currently needed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is Boosting Tourism

As for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Legacy of the Forge DLC, fans can expect even more content. Players will be able to rebuild and manage their very own Forge, embracing Henry’s roots as a forger. There will also be plenty of new quests to complete as Henry meets acquaintances of his late father, who will assist him in rekindling his family’s craft.
