There are many hidden routes in Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong, and they’re typically locked behind certain exploration Ancestral Art. However, a decent chunk of the Pharloom map is only available in Act 3, meaning players should try to reach this chapter if they wish to fully experience everything the game has to offer.
One of these Act 3 additional maps is a secret area in Far Fields, which can be accessed from a hidden route. Here’s how to reach the Far Fields secret area in Silksong.
How To Reach Far Fields Secret Area In Silksong
To reach the Far Fields secret area in Silksong, players must first visit the statue of Karmelita in Hunter’s March, then use the Silk Soar Ancestral Art to enter a secret passage.
After leaping up, continue to the right until you reach the border of Hunter’s March and Far Fields. There, you can unlock a shortcut that will connect the two regions together.
If players have previously unlocked the shortcut between Deep Docks and Hunter’s March, they won’t be able to use it, as it will be closed in Act 3. Opening it requires Hornet to take the original route to Hunter’s March, which is from The Marrow. Then, destroy the boulder from the Hunter’s March side.
This means that players must redo the pogo platforming, but thankfully, thanks to the Silk Soar ability, players can skip a large part of the platforming.
