Tragic undertones from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth might permeate the scenes throughout, even during choices that might emphasize the potential romantic relationship between Cloud and Aerith. The silver lining to it, though, is that Aerith’s storyline will expand beyond what she had in the original FF7 game, which has been one of the biggest goals of the Remake project from the start.
Everything in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is leading to a climactic finale with the third entry, and just how much Aerith is going to be a part of that is still in the air.
