Epic Games recently revealed an upcoming collaboration between Fortnite and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will add four new skins to the game. While players will be able to purchase these cosmetics in the game’s Item Shop on July 25, gamers have a chance to earn them for free on July 23 during a Fantastic Four Cup. In order to participate, players will need to form a full squad of four players and complete 10 matches. Only the highest-ranking teams will be eligible to receive the free Marvel skins. As of writing, Epic Games has not revealed just how much the skins will cost individually or as a bundle when they make their way to the Item Shop.

Fortnite Leak Reveals New Details About Upcoming Anime Collaboration
A prominent Fortnite leaker surprises players by revealing new details about an anime collaboration coming to Epic Games’ popular battle royale.
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker Loolo_WRLD (in collaboration with blortzen), revealed that mud could be returning to Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 4. Mud was originally introduced in Chapter 4 Season 3, which featured a large jungle biome. When players ran or slid through mud, they became covered in it. This would allow players to slide faster for about 30 seconds. In addition to acting as a mobility option, mud helped conceal players from thermal weapons that could pick up on heat signatures. It also helped players avoid certain hostile forms of wildlife that were present at the time. If mud is making a return, it’s possible thermal weapons could have a larger presence in Chapter 6 Season 4, though there’s no way of knowing for certain.
Recent leaks have revealed that Chapter 6 Season 4 could be followed by a mini-season featuring a major collaboration between The Simpsons and Fortnite. Earlier this year, Fortnite released three new skins from the shows King of the Hill, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers, which are also Fox properties. The cosmetics were a big hit with fans who had been waiting to see Hank Hill, Bob Belcher, and Cleveland Brown come to the game. With Chapter 6 Season 4 on the way and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
