Forza Horizon 5 has reportedly already passed an impressive milestone on the PlayStation 5, breaking the two million sales threshold within a month of its release. The beloved racing franchise from Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios made its debut on PlayStation consoles earlier this year and has already been a smash hit with Sony gamers. A report from last month revealed that Forza Horizon 5 had already earned over $100 million for Microsoft following its PS5 launch, sitting as the top-selling PS5 game in May. Now, Forza may have added another accolade with its PS5 debut.
While Forza had been an Xbox-exclusive series since the launch of Forza Motorsport in 2005, Forza Horizon 5 marked a major turning point for the franchise. The debut of Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 in late April served as the first time a main-series Forza game had launched on a non-Xbox console, breaking 20 years of Xbox exclusivity.
