Gege Reveals A New Sorcerer That Can Beat Gojo Satoru

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen know very well that Gege Akutami has never shied away from introducing powerful characters in his story, even if it’s late. In the Culling Game arc of the story, Gege revealed quite a lot of exciting characters, some of which are now fan favorites already.
At the same time, Gege also went on to reveal some characters with immense potential, and one of them can actually even defeat the strongest modern sorcerer in the whole story, Gojo Satoru, albeit only potentially. Under the right circumstances, this sorcerer can give anyone a run for their money, and even defeat Sukuna, and while most will think it is the protagonist of the story, Yuji Itadori, the author has already confirmed it to be none other than Fumihiko Takaba.
Gege Confirms Takaba Has The Most Broken Cursed Technique
Takaba Can Defeat Even Gojo If He Mastered His Powers

Gege Akutami revealed Takaba’s immense powers long ago, during the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. Simply put, Takaba has a very strong cursed technique, called Comedian. On the surface, it looks somewhat bizarre, but it is incredibly broken. In fact, it isn’t a stretch to say that Takaba’s Comedian is the most broken cursed technique in the whole series.

Simply put, Takaba’s Comedian allows him to manipulate reality itself. Anything that Takaba thinks is remotely funny can become true if he wishes it. He thinks funny scenarios into existence and in his scenarios, he can mold reality how he sees fit. He can heal to full health without using Reverse Cursed Techniques, defeat others without lifting a finger, or just change his surroundings completely as long as he thinks it’s funny.
Gege himself commented on Takaba’s ability recently, and here’s what he had to say:
Q: How broken is Comedian (超人, lit. Superhuman), couldn’t he save progress and then restart like a game?
A: It’s not as broken as that since Takaba is the one using it.
Clearly, Gege thinks Takaba’s powers aren’t that broken, but Gege clears up that the only reason this power cannot do ridiculous things like save progress and restart after dying is because it is being used by Takaba, who is unaware of how his power works. Under someone else, this technique would be unstoppable.
Takaba Has The Potential To Become The World’s Strongest Sorcerer
His Potential Rivals Gojo And Sukuna
If Takaba ever goes on to master the power of the Comedian Cursed Technique, it is fair to say that he can very well become the World’s Strongest Sorcerer. Not even Gojo Satoru or Sukuna would be strong enough to stand in his way then. Even Yuji Itadori, who looks on course to be the strongest sorcerer right now, pales in comparison, as does Yuta Okkotsu.
Thankfully, Takaba is alive, and if Jujutsu Kaisen ever continues, fans hope that they will get a glimpse of him, potentially with his cursed technique fully mastered. If that’s the case, then a new sorcerer stronger than even Gojo and Sukuna would’ve officially been born.
