As part of its marketing campaign for Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact players have a chance to obtain 320 Primogems by sharing their expectations about the upcoming region. The Natlan era is coming to an end with Version 5.8, as Genshin Impact has set the stage for Song of the Welkin Moon, the next chapter of Teyvat’s story. It will take the Traveler and Paimon to the borderlands of Snezhnaya, an autonomous archipelago called Nod-Krai. Version 6.0 will introduce Hiisi Island, Lempo Isle, and Paha Isle, but players can expect to see more in future updates.
From a gameplay standpoint, Version 6.0 will also continue to expand on Lunar Reactions by marking the debut of Flins and Lauma. Whereas Flins will be a Lunar-Charged hypercarry with a focus on Normal Attacks, Lauma will be a support character in Genshin Impact designed around Lunar-Bloom. Curiously, the new update will also introduce the first Nod-Krai character without a Lunar Reaction, as Aino will be a 4-Star Hydro Claymore that exclusively buffs Lunar Reactions, rather than providing them herself.
Genshin Impact Players Can Enter for a Chance to Win 320 Primogems Until August 29
Genshin Impact players of any platform or region can enter the latest giveaway on Reddit by leaving a comment with the following: their expectations of Nod-Krai and their UID. The giveaway lasts until August 29, 2025. It will grant 320 Primogems to 200 randomly chosen winners. For those who do not have a Reddit account, other eligible social media platforms include Facebook, Instagram, Naver Café, and Telegram, but players will need to include the hashtag #ToNodKrai. The reward of 320 Primogems in Genshin Impact can only be claimed once per account, and the winners will be announced on September 9, 2025.
Despite the overall excitement for Nod-Krai, some Genshin Impact players have critiqued HoYoverse for how it has handled giveaways and promotional codes during the marketing campaign for Song of the Welkin Moon. Rather controversially, the 30 Primogems from Gamescom were severely limited, with stock running out within hours of the announcement. Version 6.0 is expected to feature a stacked lineup of 5-Stars – with Nahida, Yelan, Lauma, and Flins in Genshin Impact all garnering no small amount of interest. As such, every single Primogem counts.
The upcoming content cycle for Genshin Impact promises to be ambitious in its vision – from changes to its endgame, to announcing a whole new sandbox module that will run on user-generated content. While expectations were initially low when HoYoverse announced that Snezhnaya would effectively be split into two parts, the community has since completely gotten on board with the team’s direction for Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact. The new region is set to launch on September 10, 2025.
