The endearing characters and the high school dynamics are easy to get into as adorable characters blast the ever-loving crap out of zombies. Highschool of the Dead is a joyride that’s perfect for fans looking to unwind, even if the copious fan service can be hard to ignore, at times.
It’s a shame that people lampoon magical anime so much, since this genre has a lot of special shows that fans will have a great time with. However, in the case of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, this show subverts so many tropes that it’s worth watching just for how wild and riveting the series is.
This anime takes a violent swerve that will captivate fans in no time. While recommending this to people who both love and hate magical girl anime is a challenge because of how different it is, people who give Puella Magi Madoka Magica a shot will be totally captivated by this amazing show.
The controversial ending to Rent-a-Girlfriend‘s manga has made it clear that both fans and non-fans will judge people for watching this anime now. While this title is adorable in its own way, there’s no denying that Kazuya can be a bit of a creepy protagonist at times.
That being said, Rent-a-Girlfriend is still a joyful experience that fans will have a great time with. The show feels like a warm hug at times, and fans who get over their judgmental nature will love how endearing this title is.

The high school setting and some suspect fanservice can make Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro hard to recommend. The show became popular for the love interest bullying the protagonist, which may send the wrong message.
However, under Nagatoro’s mischievous exterior is a sensitive side that is slowly shown from time to time. If fans decide to give this anime a shot, they’ll be genuinely pleased by what’s on offer here.
Nothing damaged Sword Art Online more than Sword Art Online itself. The first season started on a decent note, only for Kirito’s overpowered nature, a poorly-received relationship with Asuna, and the damsel-in-distress plotline of the latter half to turn many people into haters.
It’s a shame, since Sword Art Online has reinvented itself time and time again to address fan criticism. Once players get past the problems of the first season, there’s genuinely something to like about later seasons.
No Game No Life may feature an excellent premise where games are used to decide major events in the world of Disboard, but that’s not what this show is famous for. Most people know this anime
for the questionable fan service of Shiro, which is deeply problematic.
Seeing a young child be exploited for fanservice is inexcusable and makes No Game No Life very hard to recommend. However, the central mystery is engaging enough for fans to stick with this show for the long haul.
Aside from confusing this show with Highschool of the Dead, High School DxD is mainly known for its ecchi content. It’s easy to judge fans for what they perceive to be an anime for perverts, but there’s more to High School DxD than what meets the eye.
The animation, voice acting, and storytelling are genuinely excellent. Even if the show’s lewdness can be hard to digest at times, most fans will be roped in by the plot and can easily overlook the ecchi elements of an otherwise great series.
