Rockstar Games has released its latest weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online, with new content available for players to check out as part of the continued Money Fronts dripfeed. Players once again have new rewards, challenges, and more to check out in Grand Theft Auto Online, as well as the new Declasse Drift Walton L35, which can be claimed for free for a limited time only.
Back in June, Rockstar Games released the highly anticipated Money Fronts update for Grand Theft Auto Online. The big Summer patch added tons of new content to the live-service title, including some new businesses for players to purchase. However, unlike the other businesses available in Grand Theft Auto Online, the ones included in the Money Fronts update allows players to launder their dirty cash and turn it into legitimate income. Players can start out by purchasing the Hands On Car Wash, followed by Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water, both of which will boost earnings forthe Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo businesses.
GTA Online Players Have Two Weeks to Claim Free Car
There were already plenty of new vehicles included in Grand Theft Auto Online‘s Money Fronts update, but now there’s one more for players to obtain. As reported by RockstarIntel, the latest weekly update has added the new Declasse Drift Walton L35. While it would usually set players back a total of $1,403,750, the new car is currently free to claim for the next two weeks. This means players have until Thursday, August 28, to get the vehicle for free. However, there is a slight catch, as players must be a member of the LS Car Meet to get the car. This also applies when the vehicle returns to its full price.
For those unaware, the LS Car Meet was added to Grand Theft Auto Online with the Los Santos Tuners update in 2021. If a player isn’t part of the LS Car Meet, they will receive a call from Mimi inviting them to the Car Meet. Afterwards, they simply need to head to the LS marker on the map. A cutscene will play when entering the location, and players will then be given the choice to join the LS Car Meet for a one-time membership fee of $50,000. Aside from granting players access to exclusive vehicles, such as the new Declasse Drift Walton L35, it also unlocks test track vehicles, a mod shop, races and time trials, and much more.
Although weekly updates are a great way to keep players coming back for more, many fans are now patiently waiting for the next major Grand Theft Auto Online update. Shortly after Rockstar released Money Fronts, data miners uncovered evidence that suggests the studio is already hard at work on the game’s Winter update, which will likely arrive in December. If the leaks are to be believed, the upcoming update will finally add purchasable mansions to Grand Theft Auto Online, something fans have been eager to see for many years now.
