How to Get Alarm Clocks in Umamusume: Pretty Derby
Description
Since the races in Umamusume: Pretty Derby are all automated, players don’t get much of a say as to what their trainees do on the track. The myriad of factors affecting a race will eventually lead to a loss on the player’s side. Thankfully, if you don’t want to accept how things turned out, you can always rewind time and try again by using an Alarm Clock.
Alarm Clocks in Umamusume are valuable consumable items that can help your runners win their race (or make things much worse). These items are extremely helpful for squeezing out every bit of potential out of your characters, but since they can be easily used up, players will want to know where they can get more of them.
Where to Get Alarm Clocks in Umamusume: Pretty Derby
Players can get Alarm Clocks from a variety of sources, the most consistent of which being through Daily Sales. For those who are unaware, the Daily Sales store opens up randomly every time you complete a non-Career mode race with any Umamusume character. The fastest (and arguably most profitable) way to get the Daily Sales tab to appear is to do your Daily Races and Team Races.
Daily Races reward players with money, which they can then use on the Daily Sales tab to get Alarm Clocks and other goodies. The Daily Sales store can only appear three times per day, and you’ll have only a few minutes to browse and buy things from it before it closes again.
The Daily Sales store sells only one Alarm Clock every time it opens, which means you can only get up to three additional Alarm Clocks via this method per day.
Missions and Events
Occasionally, there will be missions and events that will reward you with Alarm Clocks and other useful materials. You can check the missions list by pressing the Special Mission button in the main menu. Take a second to check which mission rewards what.
Events are far more limited, but they’re usually the go-to sources for Alarm Clocks once you buy all the ones sold in the Daily Sales tab. Make sure to pay attention to whatever event is active so you know what rewards you can expect.
Clover Exchange
Players can also get more Alarm Clocks by exchanging Clovers at the Shop’s Clover Exchange. One Alarm Clock costs 30 Clovers, and you can buy up to 30 Alarm Clocks per month. You can get Clovers by converting Star Pieces or waiting for Exchange Points to automatically get converted into Clovers.
Buying Alarm Clocks here is not advised, however, as Clovers are hard to get and the Clover Exchange window has more valuable items for sale apart from Alarm Clocks.
