Fortnite is constantly evolving with each update, and each one seems bigger than the last. From mini-seasons featuring crossovers with popular franchises like Star Wars to full-blown heist or superhero-themed seasons, long-time players of the popular battle royale have certainly been in for a wild ride.

Speaking of wild rides, Fortnite also features a wide range of car cosmetics for players to collect, from flashy real-world supercars to original in-game creations. One of the most anticipated vehicles, however, is Fortnite’s very own Battle Bus, which made its way into Rocket League during a special collaboration event between the two games. How to Get the Battle Bus SUV in Fortnite for Free

The first way that players can get the Battle Bus, and the only method that has allowed players to earn it both early and for free, is to have already unlocked it in Rocket League. If players have the Battle Bus in Rocket League and have signed in following the update v36.10, on June 18, 2025, they will receive it inside of Fortnite, granted that both games use the same Epic Account.

The Battle Bus SUV was originally introduced in Rocket League during the Llama-Rama Event back in September 2020. However, the Battle Bus SUV was also available for free for a limited time by claiming the Titanium White version of the Battle Bus via the Epic Games Store from June 8, 2023, to June 12, 2025. Regardless of which version players got, they will already have received the Battle Bus SUV in Fortnite.

Furthermore, as of June 18, players who have already received the Battle Bus SUV for free through the previously mentioned methods will also receive the additional decals included in the Battle Bus SUV Bundle from the Fortnite Item Shop at no extra cost.

If players did not previously unlock the Battle Bus SUV through the Llama-Rama Event or via the Epic Games Store during its free offering, the only other way to acquire it is by purchasing it through the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,800 V-Bucks. By purchasing the Battle Bus SUV Bundle, players will receive the Battle Bus Car Skin, which can be equipped as an SUV skin inside the player’s locker.

In addition to the vehicle itself, players will also gain access to two unique Decals exclusive to the Battle Bus, along with a few Decals borrowed from previous vehicles. The Battle Bus will also transfer over to Rocket League if purchased through the Fortnite Item Shop, as long as both games are linked to the same Epic Games account.
