How to Get the Leadspitter 3000 Minigun in Fortnite
Description
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 is a huge divergence from the previous season, shifting from superheroes to a full-scale bug invasion. In this season, players can expect to dive into hives, battle huge bugs, and take home the Victory Royale, all while getting hold of some seriously cool and wacky weaponry.
The loot pool of Fortnite has shifted once again with the debut of Chapter 6 Season 4. While many weapons have stayed, like the Sentinel Pump and Deadeye DMR, others are unique additions never seen before. One of these weapons is the Leadspitter 3000, a minigun that proves rather effective at stomping out bugs. Here is how to get the Leadspitter 3000 Minigun in Fortnite.
How to Get the Leadspitter 3000 Minigun in Fortnite
The Leadspitter 3000 is one of the unique weapons that players can get their hands on in Chapter 6, Season 4 of Fortnite. To get it, players will need to open loot cache containers, with each one offering a chance of acquiring it randomly. Players can potentially get the Leadspitter 3000 from any of the following containers:
- Chests or Rare Chests
- Hive Stashes (Found in Hive Locations like Ranger’s Ruin, The Hive, or Stormy Stash)
- O.X.R. A Rank Drop Pod (drops at the player’s location upon reaching Rank A)
- O.X.R. Chests (found at O.X.R. locations and Bunkers)
Players can also get themselves a Mythic variant of the Leadspitter 3000, but there’s a catch. In order to get it, players will need to reach O.X.R. Rank S+. Once done, an S+ Rank Drop Pod will deploy to the player’s location, and when opened, they are guaranteed a Mythic that can potentially be the Leadspitter 3000.
How to Use the Leadspitter 3000 Minigun in Fortnite
The Leadspitter 3000 is a triple-barrel gatling gun that consumes light bullets and boasts an exceptionally large magazine, along with dishing out some respectable DPS at medium and close range. When players pull the trigger, they will need to wait for a short wind-up time before firing, or they can cut down on the delay altogether by aiming down sights.
The weapon itself isn’t super-effective at long range due to its high amount of recoil. However, it is quite effective at eliminating bugs without reloading, and it also packs a serious punch against the Queen. Here is a breakdown of the stats for the weapon:
