How to Land in the Broken Globe (Good Luck Stunt) in Skate
Description
Skate is a modern take on the classic franchise, introducing San Van, a skateboard capital where players can skate the streets and complete challenges. There are several types of challenges, including Own the Spot, Session, Line, and Stunt challenges. The Stunt challenges are some of the hardest.
One of the hardest Stunt Challenges in Skate is the Good Luck Stunt, where players have to leap off a building and land in a broken globe on the other side of a different building. There are a few ways to complete the challenge, but with the right technique, players can Shut it Down with more than just luck.
Skate 4 Good Luck Stunt Challenge Guide
How to Shut It Down
The main goal of Stunt Challenges is to throw your body and land in a specific area. The Good Luck Stunt is found in Hedgemont. It is one of the daily challenges, so it rotates, so players will only have a chance to complete it every other day. Players can find the Stunt location on their map, and they will automatically teleport to the rooftop where the challenge begins.
To Shut It Down, they must complete all the tasks, which include the following:
- Caveman onto the Rooftop
- Land in the Rooftop Dumpster
- Land in the Garage Dumpster
- Land in the Broken Globe
Players can use the video below to see how to complete the Good Luck Stunt Challenge:
How to Caveman onto the Rooftop in Skate 4
The first thing players must do for the challenge is to successfully Caveman onto the curved rooftop. The curved rooftop is across the street from the building where the challenge starts. Cavemanning is putting your board back under your feet after going airborne. Use the following controls to Caveman after jumping off the building:
- PlayStation: Triangle
- Xbox: Y
Since the rooftop is further away, players will need to Spread Eagle to get that far. They will complete that part of the challenge when they land in the designated area.
How to Land in the Rooftop Dumpster in Skate 4
The next part of the challenge is to land inside a dumpster on one of the roofs on the other side of the one with the curved roof. The trick to this is to time the landing to hit the right angle and Caveman without falling off the board.
Players should ensure they don’t wait too long, or the angle they land at will be sharp, and they’ll crash. Skate the roof over the edge, and the rooftop dumpster is below it.
How to Land in the Garage Dumpster in Skate 4

The next stage of the challenge is to land in the garage dumpster. Again, players will need to skate off the curved rooftop. Then, they must go past the dumpster and fall into the hole that leads inside the parking garage.
Keep your body as centered as possible when falling into the hole, or there’s a chance your character will bounce out of the dumpster. After landing inside the dumpster, players can do the next step of the stunt trick.
How to Land in the Broken Globe in Skate 4
This is the hardest part of the challenge because players must go around two different buildings to find the broken globe. The first is the building with the curved roof. Once players get past it, they then need to go around the parking garage with the dumpsters.
Pull to the left after skating off the curved roof. Hit a Spread Eagle and fly around the side of the building, and then land inside a broken globe on the other side.
Some players have been having better luck flying around the building with the curved roof rather than skating off of it, but there’s a chance this will not have enough momentum to get you around the building unless the timing is spot on.
Try not to hit the building, but if you do, there’s a chance to bounce inside the globe. After that, players will have completed the Good Luck Stunt challenge.
