Hollow Knight: Silksong is filled with numerous optional areas that the players can visit in search of loot, new Tools, or resources. Some areas can be confusing to find, especially if you’re unsure where to look. The Wormways is one such location that is accessible very early on in the game. However, to explore the area as a whole, players will need to spend some time farming Rosaries. This guide offers information on all ways to reach Wormways in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
How to Reach the Wormways in Silksong
Wormways is a location that players can go to whenever they want. However, to access it, they will require a Simple Key. The fastest way to get a Simple Key is to purchase it from the vendor in Bone Bottom. The NPC is selling it for 500Rosaries, so you will have to farm enemies a bit until you have that amount on you. After purchasing the key, you will have two path options to take to reach Wormways.
Path 1
The first path is quite simple. All you have to do is head to the Bellway Station in The Marrow and head left. Once you interact with the bench in Mosshome, head further left and leave the area to reach the outside. Jump up and dash onto the hanging elevator, and dash to the far left corner, and you will reach a passage.
Head inside and immediately get beneath a platform. This is because you will find an enemy on top of you that spits poison on top of you, dealing two mask damage. Simply sprint to the other side of the room and jump into the next room, where you will find the door that you can interact with to use the Simple Key on.
Path 2
The second path involves going through Shellwood and going all the way left until you reach a point where you can drop down below to Bone Bottom. Float down while staying close to the left wall, and you will soon see a passage that leads into Wormways. Once inside, you can make your way forward, making sure you don’t get hit by the travelling bugs.
If you do get hit, as there are a lot of bugs, you can keep hitting them to restore your Silk, required to heal your mask shards.
Head further down, and you will also find the Dead Bug’s Purse tool here, which allows the bearer to retain some rosaries upon defeat. Keep following the main path, and once you reach the long vertical room, go all the way down to find a lever that you can hit, and this will reveal the same door that requires the Simple Key to gain access.
