Madden NFL 26’s Franchise mode gives players the chance to take on the role of both GM and coach of their favorite team, making the big decisions on and off the pitch. While your main objective will be to build a dominant team on the field and lead it to Super Bowl glory, you can also make the bigger-picture decisions, such as choosing to relocate the franchise to a new state or city. In this guide, I’ll explain how to relocate your team in Madden 26 so you can truly mark a new era for your franchise.
From the Franchise mode Home menu, go to the GM’s Office option and then select the Relocate or Rebuild option at the very bottom of the sub-menu that appears here. On the next screen, you can choose to rebuild your stadium or relocate the franchise. Select the latter option.
This will then bring up a map of the United States, where you can use left and right on your left stick to cycle through the different places you can relocate your team to. Each location will have a different Market Size, Personality, and Fan Interest. Depending on what characteristics you want from your fan base, or if you have a location in mind, choose where you want to relocate your franchise to and press X on PS5/ A on Xbox to confirm your decision.
You’ll then decide whether you want to carry your namesake to a new city. Again, use the left stick to cycle through the different options here.
Some team names are only available in certain states, such as the Oilers in Texas.
Once you’re happy with your namesake, your final decision to make is the type of stadium you’re going to build in your team’s new home. There are a number of different options here, each of which comes with its unique build costs, weekly costs, seating capacity, stadium funding, and stadium size. Each of these is listed in the table below to help you digest the information more easily.

I’ve not included the Market Size and City Personality in the table below because they’re dependent on where you selected to relocate your franchise to. The type of stadium you build won’t change this. The numbers above are for the Baltimore Ravens’ relocation. The weekly cost can differ depending on the team you choose. For example, when relocating the Tennessee Titans, the weekly cost for the basic canopy stadium was $0.11M.
Once you’ve chosen and confirmed your stadium type, you’ll have completed the relocation of your franchise. If you’re looking to put your stamp on your favorite team’s history, relocating them and completing a fantasy draft to shake up the roster are two of the best ways to do so, not to mention leading them to Super Bowl glory. If you do choose to start with a fantasy draft, make sure you draft some of the best, fastest wide receivers in the game to give your offense the edge.
