Description

Bodhi is dateable #87 in Date Everything and is essentially the living recreation of the 80s. From the ‘tube’ to the music, Bodhi loves everything about the 1980s, but that comes with some delicate conversations you’ll have to have with him. In this guide, I’ll explain where to find Bodhi and how to obtain his ‘Love,’ ‘Friends,’ and ‘Hate’ endings, so you can achieve the relationship you want with him.

Unlike other characters in Date Everything, Bodhi actually moves around the house each time you speak with him. As such, we’ve outlined where to first find Bodhi, and each place you’ll find him after that, below for your convenience.

Romancing Volt and Eddie in Date Everything requires some very specific actions. Here’s how to get the ‘Love’ relationship with them.

Where to Find All Bodhi Locations in Date Everything

Bodhi can first be found in the crawlspace, accessed via the trap door in the closet that comes off your office downstairs. This is also where you find the attic key.

When you’re in the crawlspace, you’re looking for a silver capsule lying on the floor. This is the time capsule from the 1980s that Bodhi is the personification of. After this initial conversation, Bodhi will move around the house for the next five interactions. These are:

How to Romance Bodhi in Date Everything

bodhi love ending date everything

Bodhi loves the 1980s, and so a lot of your responses to him in conversation should focus on how great the time period was. Also, be sure to tell him how great TV, music, movies, and everything else about that time period were to establish a strong relationship with him.

The main part you need to be careful with is when you discuss some of his ‘heroes’ from that time period and the fact that they’ve been ‘cancelled.’ This puts Bodhi on a bit of a downer, but if you handle this conversation and the one that follows correctly, you can perk him back up and win him over.

To help you out, I’ve given you the correct dialogue options for every interaction with Bodhi to get you the ‘Love’ ending.

First Interaction – Crawlspace

  • Oh, a time capsule. Neat!
  • Wait a minute… So you’re the “thing” right? But also trapped inside the thing?
  • Yup. “Totally.” Guess I’ll let you out.
  • Wait, I thought you were a time capsule.
  • I LOVE the 80’s.
  • Because you were sealed in the tube?
  • Radical, dude!
  • You good down here?
  • There was a lot of tube talk in the 80’s, huh?
  • A villain? I don’t want a villain in my house!
  • You got it Mr. Skiyagi!

Depending on whether you’ve met Zoey Bennett already, Bodhi might give you a necklace. This is a very brief conversation, so I’m not including it here as your responses don’t determine your relationship with Bodhi.

Second Interaction – Living Room

  • Enjoying the new digs?
  • See anything you like?
  • Haha, yeah, there’s sure a lot of content.
  • Ooohhh, “content” is what we call media. Not just TV, but podcasts, live-streams, you know, stuff to watch.
  • Feeling like it’s too much?
  • Honestly, I have no idea. We just kind of consume it, good or bad, depending on what’s trending.
  • Ha! Yeah, that’s the algorithm for ya.
  • [Smart 15] You know, a finite sequence of rigorous instructions?
  • It basically governs everything that you’re served up on all the streaming services.
  • What was TV like during the 80’s?
  • Certified Bangers!
  • OMG, I always loved…
  • Dolores Zdornob
  • My grandmother used to make me cookies. Bad ones, but still.
  • You okay?
  • Of course. Take all the time you like.

Third Interaction – Office

  • Hey Bodhi! Found your way to the office I see.
  • What do you think of this “brave new world”?
  • Overwhelming makes sense. Is there something that you are still psyched about?
  • Oh yeah, I LOVE the 80’s flicks.
  • Totally! Those are fantastic films!
  • Beverly Hills Stop Sign
  • Thanks Bodhi!
  • What letters?
  • Haha, you mean LGBTQIA+
  • 80’s movies are still great though! It’s healthy to be able to enjoy things and also know they aren’t perfect.
  • Me too.
  • I mean… with these dateviators I’m popular here!
  • After a while crocodile!

Fourth Interaction – Dining Room

  • Bodhi? You doin’ ok?
  • What are you doing in the dining room?
  • Yeah, you’re getting it, mostly!
  • Oh yeah? What kind of music are you into?
  • Got any favorites?
  • Uuummm…
  • I hate to tell you this, but all of the folks you just named are really problematic, Bodhi.
  • No Bodhi, they’re CANCELLED.
  • It means that someone’s poor choices and negative actions have caused pretty much everyone to universally shun them.
  • Kind. It’s rare.
  • Anything is possible… technically.
  • I’m sorry, Bodhi.
  • It’s not that simple anymore I’m afraid.
  • You doing okay?
  • My generation is having a lot of conversations about “separating the art from the artist”. You can still enjoy the songs. Just… different awareness, I guess.
  • Who were they?

Fifth Interaction – Bedroom

  • Whoa, is that Bedroom Bodhi I see?
  • You seem lost in thought.
  • But Bodhi, EVERY decade is a mess. Nothing is perfect, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have merit. People love you for who you are… I love you for who you are.
  • I said… I love you.
  • Yes. Everything about you. Even your flaws.
  • I’m definitely feelin’ it!
  • Let’s go, Bodhi, SING TO ME!!
  • Finish listening..
  • Bodhi, that was WILD!!
  • Amazing. I LOVE the 80’s!! And I think I’m in love with you!

After you’ve got your chosen ending with Bodhi, he’ll move to his final ‘location’ which is on the mantelpiece above the fireplace.

How to Get Bodhi’s ‘Friends’ and ‘Hate’ Endings in Date Everything

bodhi friends ending date everything

The ‘Friend’ and ‘Hate’ endings for Bodhi are pretty easy to get once you know the ‘critical path’ to his ‘Love’ ending.

Friends

To become friends with Bodhi, you just need to choose the ‘You’ve got charm in spades, Bodhi. Can we hang out all the time?’ dialogue option in the final interaction with him.

Hate

To make Bodhi hate you, you need to just talk trash about the 80’s during all of your interactions with him. Don’t try and relate to him, and say you don’t really know anything about the things he mentions. Most importantly, don’t be delicate around the ‘cancelled’ conversation, and this will result in you getting the ‘hate’ ending.
