How to Romance Keith in Date Everything

Keith is dateable #86 in Date Everything and takes a little bit of time to find and eventually romance. That’s because he’s hidden away and then has a questline that you’ll need to complete. While some characters in Date Everything are pretty easy to romance, one wrong dialogue choice will lock you out from getting Keith’s ‘Love’ ending. This guide will explain how to get all endings with Keith, where to find him, and what you’ll need to do to realize him.

Where to Find Keith in Date Everything

Finding Dateable #86

Keith can be found in the crawlspace, which is accessed through the closet in your office. Open the closet door and interact with the trap door in the floor to gain access to the crawlspace. Once you’re down here, look for a silver key next to a small capsule.

This skeleton key is Keith, and after your initial conversation with him down here, he’ll be moved to the table at the top of the stairs.

How to Romance Keith in Date Everything

Romancing Keith requires you to consistently flirt with him, and then help him try to find more information on how he ended up in the crawlspace. While this might sound straightforward, Keith can be quite fickle, and one or two wrong dialogue choices will lock you out of his ‘Love’ ending entirely. I’ve included all dialogue options I chose to successfully romance him and help him with his quest.

First Interaction

• You’re welcome!
• I’m actually looking for a way to get into the attic. Do you know where I’d find it?
• That sounds very useful to have!
• (Now go and unlock the attic door with Keith)
• You two seem like lovers.
• I agree. Maybe we can be friends, Keith?
• Let’s see what’s in store in the attic!

Second Interaction

• Uh, [your name] is fine, Keith. You don’t need to call me ‘Owner.’
• So how long were you under there, really?
• Did the previous owner lose you?
• That’s strange.
• How old are you?
• Er… 50-something?
• You’ve been here a while, then?
• That’s about it for now. Anything you’d like to ask me?

If you don’t choose to flirt with Keith at the beginning of the sixth interaction before you help with hacking into the account, you’ll be locked out of his ‘Love’ ending. Similarly, it appears that if you don’t use the ‘Social engineering, baby!’ dialogue option when trying to get the password, you’ll fail and will be locked out of the quest forever.

How to Get Keith’s ‘Friends’ and ‘Hate’ Endings in Date Everything

Simple Choices to Get the Other Endings

To become friends with Keith, you just need to choose the dialogue option: “I’d love that Keith. Your friendship means a lot to me,” in the final interaction after helping him with his quest. Alternatively, you can choose to just not flirt with him at the beginning of the sixth interaction, and even if you choose the first kiss dialogue option, he’ll say he sees you as a friend instead.

To get Keith’s ‘Hate’ ending, you need to refuse to help him with his quest. This has to be done when he first asks you about it in the fifth interaction, and you can ask questions about how it would work. After confirming you’ve heard all you need to know about it for now, say that you don’t think this is a good idea. Keith will say he understands and then change his mind, getting you the ‘Hate’ ending.
