Tyrell is dateable #51 in Date Everything and is a really chill and friendly guy. As long as you play your cards right and support him in his dreams and passions, you’re sure to get along just fine. In this guide, I’ll explain how to find Tyrell and get his ‘Love,’ ‘Friends,’ and ‘Hate’ endings in Date Everything, so you can get those all-important SPECS points off him and add him to your ever-increasing list of love conquests.
Henry Hoove, the hoover in Date Everything can be a tricky man to romance. Here’s what players need to do to get the love, friend, and hate endings.
Where to Find Tyrell in Date Everything
Tracking Down Dateable #51
Tyrell is the human embodiment of the towels that can be found throughout your house. You can interact with the towels in the upstairs or downstairs bathrooms, as well as the one that’s been arranged into the shape of an elephant in the right-hand bedroom closet.
It doesn’t matter which of the three you interact with, you’ll always meet the same Tyrell, and his questline will advance whether you use your Dateviators on the same one each time or all three towels.
How to Romance Tyrell in Date Everything
Tyrell is one of the easier characters to romance in the game. There’s no lengthy questlines (looking at you, Scandalabra) or the need to involve other characters here. Instead, you just need to show you respect Tyrell and the work he does, and encourage him to pursue his dream of becoming a beach towel. To make sure that you don’t make any wrong turns along the way, I’ve listed every dialogue option I used in each interaction below, so you can guarantee you get the ‘Love’ ending.
First Interaction
What? What’s wrong? What did I do?
Phew! That was a close one.
Are you talking to me?
Towel… buddy?
Yeah. It is my bedroom.
You just seem nervous.
That’s pretty clever!
It’s really good!
I can make a bit of a mess.
Is work all you care about?
Second Interaction
Hey Tyrell! What’s up with you today?
Thoughtful…?
Were you eavesdropping?
Is there something wrong with Bathsheba?
You are cute when you are jealous!
You sure about that?
Am I making too much of a mess?
I can be more careful next time I take a bath. I promise.
What makes you say that?
This interaction seems to be because I had spoken with Bathsheba about Tyrell previously. If you haven’t spoken with Bathsheba yet, you might not have this conversation and immediately go on to the conversation below.
Third Interaction
Here you go!
Thanks…
I’m glad to hear it!
Fabrication?
You’re really good at this! Maybe this could be your career!
Why do you keep them around?
Sounds like a nice way to relax.
Where is everyone else?
Aww, that’s cute!
What?! Not rags!
Were you scared?
Give Tyrell your hand
That spark?
Very… very warm.
I get it and I love it.
After all that, and you still want to do the same work?
Of course?
You want to be a beach towel?
Would you want me to go with you?
I’d go to the beach with you. Just to see you smile!
I think you would make an awesome beach towel. I’d love to see it!
I don’t think it’s silly at all!
I think it’s absolutely awesome, we’ll make it happen one day.
As long as I’m there with you, I know it will be perfect!
Look at the cute piggy!!!
Hubba hubba.
How to Get Tyrell’s ‘Friend’ and ‘Hate’ Endings in Date Everything
Much like his ‘Love’ ending, getting Tyrell’s other endings is pretty straightforward, as you can make some more platonic dialogue choices, and be disrespectful to him fairly easily.
Friends
To become friends with Tyrell, when he says that you’ve got to make going to the beach together happen, you’ll want to choose the “All that… except the cuddling,” dialogue option. Also make sure you avoid using flirty dialogue options throughout your conversations with him. This will officially land you in the friend zone.
Hate
To make Tyrell hate you, choose the dismissive dialogue options like “Stick to the cleaning, buddy.” and “This story is way too long.” Be a jerk to him, and you’ll get the ending you desire (and probably deserve).
How to Realize Tyrell in Date Everything
Get Those SPECS Up
After you have achieved 10 ‘Love’ or ‘Friend’ endings, you’ll unlock the ability to realize characters. However, each character has certain SPECS stat requirements you’ll need to meet to turn them into real human beings. For Tyrell, these are:
SPECS Stat
Requirement
Smarts
50
Poise
25
Empathy
80
Charm
60
Sass
35
As long as you have these SPECS stats, speak to Tyrell again once you’ve achieved a ‘Friends’ or ‘Love’ ending with him and confirm you want to realize him.
Once you realize a character, they’ll leave the house, and you won’t be able to talk to them again.
