Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have joined forces to bring the iconic supernatural film Hellraiser into the realm of single-player survival horror gaming with Clive Barkers’ Hellraiser: Revival. Set to launch for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Cliver Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will drag players into an action-packed solo journey through a hellish abyss while facing off against the legendary Pinhead and his Cenobites.
Fans may be familiar with Saber Interactive’s development of other video games based on classic horror films, including Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, Evil Dead: The Game, and A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. Boss Team Games worked in collaboration with Saber on Evil Dead and teamed up with WayForward Technologies to release two RetroRealms titles based on Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead. The two teams are once again banding together to bring one of the most beloved horror franchises to life in a terrifying new way.

Dead By Daylight Removing Hellraiser Content Could be a Bad Omen for the Future
Pinhead leaving Dead by Daylight is obviously a sad day for the game as a whole, but it could be the first signal of trouble ahead for other collabs.
Horror writer and filmmaker Clive Barker created the original Hellraiser movie in 1987 and is now onboard with Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games for the terrifyingly immersive experience awaiting players in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. According to Barker, the two studios have shown a “remarkable” dedication to capturing the true essence of the Hellraiser series. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will be a brand-new chapter in the seductively grotesque nightmare of Hellraiser, placing players in the role of Aidan. In order to save his girlfriend from the bowels of oblivion, Aidan will need to unlock the dark powers of the mysterious Genesis Configuration puzzle box and harness the cursed object’s “infernal abilities” to survive a pact made with the infamous Pinhead. Blending story-driven action with the hallmarks of similar survival horror video games, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival puts a first-person twist on the terrors of hell.
In addition to original Hellraiser creator Clive Barker joining the project, actor Doug Bradley will be reprising his role as Pinhead for the first time in roughly two decades for Hellraiser: Revival. Fans will have the opportunity to choose between the standard edition of the game and two Collector’s Editions. These Collector’s Editions will include a Hellraiser Puzzle Box, a Hellraiser statue, and other officially licensed collectibles created exclusively for the Collector’s Editions. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is available now for wishlisting on PC, PS5, and Xbox, and the Collector’s Editions are available for pre-order via Boss Team Games.
Just as Pinhead and his Cenobites have cemented a legacy within horror cinema history, the terrifying icons are looking to join the ranks of the best horror game characters with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Horror gaming continues to see a massive resurgence with hit remakes and highly-anticipated sequels, and the otherworldly torments in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival are poised to introduce gaming fans to an iconic legacy of fear.
