Forsaken 64 being added to the Nintendo Classics library for the Nintendo Switch Online‘s Expansion Pack tier lends credibility to a previous leak about new Nintendo 64 games that are apparently coming to the service. One of the main selling points of an Expansion Pack tier subscription for Nintendo Switch Online is the fact that it gives users access to classic Nintendo 64 games. Indeed, some of the best Nintendo 64 games of all time are readily available to play through Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Among the incredible Nintendo 64 games available through Nintendo Switch Online are the groundbreaking Super Mario 64, the wildly influential GoldenEye 007, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which remains the highest-rated video game ever released. Despite how strong the current Nintendo 64 Switch Online lineup is, there is still room for improvement, and Nintendo has proven that by continuing to add games to the library. While future Nintendo 64 games for Switch Online have not been announced in an official capacity, a previous leak has recently been given extra credibility and may reveal what fans can look forward to in the near future.

Earlier this year, Nintendo released a new video about Switch Online, and Internet sleuths quickly figured out that unreleased NSO games were blurred in the background. Ultimately, it was decided that blurred box art for Donkey Kong 64, Forsaken 64, Glover, Rayman 2, and the original Super Smash Bros. was spotted. Now that Nintendo has added Forsaken 64 to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack lineup, it makes it a lot easier to believe that the other games will be coming at some point in the future as well.

Leaked Nintendo 64 Games for Switch Online + Expansion Pack

  • Donkey Kong 64
  • Glover
  • Rayman 2
  • Super Smash Bros.

If Nintendo does add the other leaked games, it will include some titles that many fans never expected to be added to the service. Donkey Kong 64 was developed by Rare, an Xbox-owned studio, and has been left off the Nintendo 64 lineup for so long that a lot of subscribers have given up hope that it will ever make its debut. Super Smash Bros., meanwhile, would be surprising simply because Nintendo has always seemed reluctant to re-release its Super Smash Bros. games. Considering the dizzying popularity of the franchise, the fact that the OG Super Smash Bros. still hasn’t been added to Switch Online at this point is enough for many fans to be skeptical that it will ever be added.

But while these games may very well be on the way for the Nintendo Classics library, it’s possible Nintendo will spread them out quite significantly. Nintendo has only added three N64 games to Switch Online in all of 2025 so far, with Ridge Racer 64 added back in January, Killer Instinct Gold joining in May, and of course, Forsaken 64 joining the lineup in September. Hopefully, Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers don’t have a terribly long wait ahead of them, but it is nice that the leaked games list is now easier to believe.
