A popular Marvel Rivals leaker has revealed that Blade could become part of the Lunar Force team-up with Cloak and Dagger, potentially allowing the hero to become invisible for a short period of time. NetEase Games recently revealed a roadmap for Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, giving players a glimpse of what they can expect to see in the coming weeks. In addition to announcing the Summer Special event, the roadmap teased a collaboration with the upcoming MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is scheduled to release in theaters on July 25. The roadmap also revealed that the highly anticipated Season 3.5 update will make its debut on August 8, which will add the hero Blade to the game’s ever-expanding roster.
Marvel Rivals players come together to express their frustration with the amount of Duelists available in NetEase Games’ popular hero shooter.
In a recent post on Twitter, RivalsInfo shared a video that showcased a potential team-up involving the upcoming hero Blade in Marvel Rivals. According to the video, it seems as if Blade could be joining an existing team-up between Cloak and Dagger and Moon Knight. Currently, Cloak and Dagger acts as the anchor of the Lunar Force team-up, which allows Moon Knight to create a small zone where he can turn invisible for a brief period of time. From what can be seen, it seems as if Blade could receive the same benefit, though that could change leading up to the hero’s official launch in August. NetEase Games has also been known to rotate characters in and out of team-ups. So, it’s always possible that Blade could enter the team-up and Moon Knight could be removed, though there has been no official word from the developers on such a change.
Blade Could Be Joining Marvel Rivals’ Lunar Force Team-Up
As NetEase Games continues to add more characters to the popular hero shooter, some players have requested that Marvel Rivals replace its current character selection wheel. According to some players, navigating the wheel during character selection can feel a bit cumbersome and adding more heroes only seems to exacerbate the issue. Several people have suggested that the problem could be solved by adding a “favorites” section to the wheel, allowing players to prioritize the heroes they play regularly.
One gamer even suggested that NetEase Games should allow players to display their preferred Marvel Rivals heroes during character selection. Doing so may help players determine which team composition could work best, potentially allowing people to utilize their best heroes more often. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
