Marvel Rivals players have come together to request that NetEase Games find a way to show all available heroes during character selection instead of utilizing a large wheel. NetEase Games recently released Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, which introduced a wide variety of hero balance adjustments and a new Duelist.

With the launch of Season 3, the developers did introduce one change that wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes. Shortly after Season 3 went live, it became apparent that NetEase Games had implemented new ways for its system to detect players who may be smurfing in Marvel Rivals. People on Reddit noticed almost immediately, posting images of a warning going out to players who were flagged by the new system. The warning stated that if players continued to break the rules, they would face larger consequences. Since then, it has come out that players found to be smurfing are receiving season-long bans from Competitive matches and will have their rank reset at the beginning of Season 4.

A prominent Marvel Rivals content creator surprises fans by revealing another summer skin that could be coming to NetEase Games’ popular hero shooter.

In a recent post on Reddit, imjokeslol suggested that NetEase Games should do away with the character selection wheel players use to pick their hero at the beginning of a match. The player stated that they would like the developers to find a way to show all the available heroes on the screen at the same time, as scrolling through the wheel can feel a little cumbersome. They even added that this problem could become even more apparent in the future, as developers are adding characters to the game fairly frequently. For instance, the hero Blade will be coming to Marvel Rivals in August with the launch of Season 3.5.

Marvel Rivals Players Want to Do Away With the Hero Selection Wheel

One person suggested that NetEase Games could improve the situation by allowing fans to favorite their preferred characters, placing them at the top of the character selection screen at the beginning of a match. Players often share new ideas with the developers in the hopes that they can help improve Marvel Rivals‘ UI, gameplay, and all-around fun factor.

Marvel Rivals recently made a change to its user interface with the launch of Season 3, allowing players to track their quests and challenges at the end of a match. Now, at the end of a match, players can see exactly how many Accessory Points they’ve earned, their momentum toward Lord with a hero, and just how much they’ve progressed individual events and challenges. This has drastically cut down on the amount of time players need to spend navigating menus in between matches. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
