While Code was still active in the background, a bigger villain that the fans started worrying about emerged. This group was that of the Shinju. Created inadvertently by Code, the Shinju ended up becoming even bigger threats than Code himself. However, now, one by one, the Shinju are falling. Matsuri and Ryu have already been beaten, and only three remain.

With the fall of the Shinju, Kawaki might consider freeing Naruto Uzumaki. This is because Boruto told Kawaki to seek training from Naruto recently, and while he also said it was too late, if the Shinju fall, it would be the perfect time for just that.
