Life sim Palia has received a major summer update called “Solstice Bloom,” which brings a whole bunch of stuff for players, including new features, quests, plushies, decor, and much more. Palia’s Solstice Bloom update also introduces plenty of improvements and adjustments to several areas of the game, while also addressing a good number of bugs.
Palia is a cozy, free-to-play life simulation MMO that invites players into a peaceful experience focused on crafting, farming, fishing, and socializing—like an online Stardew Valley. Here, players engage in activities like gardening, cooking, insect catching, and home decoration, though Palia also has a social side: players can befriend or romance villagers, collaborate with others on shared tasks, and visit each other’s homes through Home Tours. Palia continues to expand through seasonal updates and major additions, such as The Elderwood expansion, which brought a new region, creatures, and storylines to the game. Now, developer Singularity 6 is releasing yet another update to keep bringing fresh content to players.
Palia sees an impressive surge in news players in May, meaning now could be a good time to jump back into the fantasy life sim.
To celebrate the summer season, the Solstice Bloom update introduces six new quests aiming to explore deeper into Palia’s NPCs’ lives. Some of these quests include Platinum Wedding Bells, where players must help Hodari craft a special gift for his sister’s wedding; Zed Drop, where they will help Zeki steal Eshe’s wax seal to forge documents for illegal medicine; and Food for Thought, where Reth and Jel need to cook soup to ease Jel’s stress before his mom’s fashion show, with players lending them a hand. These missions will unlock different rewards while also helping players gain new friendships.
In addition to the new quests in Palia, the River Shark and Elder Shark are joining the game’s plushie collection. Moreover, players will now be able to change their name or nickname by logging into accounts.palia.com, though the developer noted this can only be done every 30 days. Singularity 6 has also launched the Palia Vinyl, which contains the game’s original soundtrack, with also limited signed editions for collectors.
Additionally, Palia‘s Elderwood Umbraan Decor furniture set is now available. To unlock these items, players must first buy the Outer Umbraan starter pack, which provides the initial recipes needed to begin crafting the full collection. On top of all this, the Solstice Bloom update makes some improvements and adjustments to decor stacking, storage, muskin, and growable flowers.
Singularity 6 also addressed a significant number of bugs affecting gameplay, housing & decor, accounts, character creation, collections, wardrobe, and more. As the developer continues working on the cozy sim, players have a lot to look forward to in Palia’s Solstice Bloom update.
