If players want a shot at encountering shiny Dynamax Wailmer, they will need to take part in and complete multiple Wailmer Max Battles. After defeating the Wailmer, players will get a chance to capture the boss, and it is at this time that lucky Trainers may meet the shiny odds and encounter the shiny variant of this monster. However, there is no guarantee that you will encounter one, as shiny Pokemon are generally a rare occurrence in Pokemon GO.
