PS Plus Subscribers Have Exclusive Dibs on New PlayStation Store Sale

On July 11, PlayStation Plus subscribers were treated to a surprise early access window of the PlayStation Summer Sale event, as over 200 games were discounted throughout the weekend. Though access to the weekend sale requires an active PS Plus membership at any tier, the general PlayStation Summer Sale for all users will likely begin the following week.

Users with an active PlayStation Plus subscription in the Essential, Extra, or Premium tiers have until July 15 to enjoy early access to some discounts that will also be included in the general PlayStation Summer Sale window. Alongside the PS Plus Summer Sale, customers can peruse the July Savings and Games Under $20 sales, both of which end on July 16. Alongside early access to the PlayStation Summer Sale, PS Plus members can enjoy a slate of monthly games across each subscription tier, with games like Diablo 4 and Jusant now available for PS Plus Essential users to claim until the end of the month.

One certain announcement during the Ghost of Yotei stream leaves several OG PS5 owners feeling unhappy and left out by the console giant.

For a few days, PS Plus users across each subscription tier have exclusive access to discounts on over 200 PS4 and PS5 titles. As reported by MP1st, some of the featured titles in the PS Plus Summer Sale window cover various genres, including sports simulators, survival horror, and multiplayer-focused shooters. Some of the cheapest offers include various open-world titles rich with endgame content, such as Borderlands 3 at $5.99, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at $7.99, and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – Special Edition at $9.99. Other games discounted under $10 include the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League at $6.99, the critically acclaimed horror title Alien: Isolation – The Collection at $9.99, and RoboCop: Rogue City at $8.99. The discount on RoboCop: Rogue City came at a convenient time for fans, as the standalone tie-in RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business launches on July 17.
