Description

The penultimate mission of Ready or Not takes players to a hospital that has been overtaken by terrorists. Armed with rifles, shotguns, and sidearms, these terrorists will not resist pulling the trigger on the officers who have come to save the day, so it’s time to get the best loadout possible and head into the Coastal Grove Medical Center for the S-Rank in Relapse, just remember to be mindful of the plethora of civilians and the bomb locations that could ruin the best rank possible in one of Ready or Not’s hardest missions.

Rescue All of the Civilians

Defuse the Bomb Threats

There are 2 bombs to be found in Relapse within 30 minutes

Relapse is one of the hardest missions, and as such, players are going to want to be well-equipped to deal with the threats ahead. Ceramic plates are by far the best for armor protection, as they will absorb the most damage so that players can take a few extra shots before they go down for good. As for weapons, players are going to want the Beanbag Shotgun and a few Flashbangs to clear out rooms of enemies. Perhaps the most important defensive aspect of this loadout for Relapse is the Tactical Shield, as this will protect your back against all damage, almost like a turtle shell. The Tactical Shield will be useful when crossing the skybridge that connects the hospital wings, as players will want to walk backwards so that their shield can block all damage as they move across rooms. Keep a similar loadout for the AI teammates, but make sure that they use the VPL 25 so that they don’t accidentally kill people with the Beanbag Shotgun. For their officer traits, use Nutritionist, Armorer, Intimidator, and Negotiator for an easier run, as this provides more health for this lengthy encounter, as well as easier compliance orders. Since there are plenty of suspects, this mission might take a few attempts, but it is doable for an S-Rank with the right tools and talent.

How to Bring Order to Chaos in Relapse

Bring Order to Chaos in Relapse

There are around 16 suspects in Relapse, and players must take each of them alive if they are to get the S-Rank. These suspects are deadly and will not hesitate to shoot, so a Beanbag Shotgun is essential to keeping them subdued and alive. Each of these suspects will have a weapon that they drop, and some will have a sidearm as well, meaning players need to be aware of over 23 evidence that need to be secured. Another important aspect to note with the hostiles in Relapse is that some of them are disguised as doctors and nurses, so it’s very important to keep your aim trained on everyone you see, especially those in scrubs uniform and face masks, as this is how they will try to disguise themselves.

Since this is an extremely large mission area, we advise starting at the Underground Parking Lot Entry

21 evidence and clearing room-by-room on the first floor, before traversing upstairs, and then to the East and West wings of the hospital. There are more hostiles than civilians, so keep your aim focused on corners and rooms while actively avoiding long corridors. It never hurts to throw a Flashbang into a room before entering, as it may force enemies to surrender before they’ve even fired a bullet.

How to Arrest Zahir Asadullah in Relapse

Zahir Asadullah in Relapse

While all suspects must be arrested and taken in alive for the S-Rank, there is one suspect who is by far the most important. Players must, without fail, arrest Zahir Asadullah. This hostile usually has a pistol and is wearing a hospital gown, and more often than not, Zahir Asadullah can be found on the Second Floor in the MRI Room, accessed via the West Wing. Zahir is armed, so be careful proceeding into this room, and feel free to shoot him in the chest with a Beanbag Shotgun if he refuses to comply, so that you can safely make the arrest

All Bomb Locations in Relapse

How to Defuse the Bomb Threats in Relapse

When starting Relapse, players might be concerned about the fact that there is a bomb that must be defused. However, this objective should be the least of your concerns. There are only 2 bombs in Relapse, and they have a 30-minute timer, which is more than enough time to complete the objectives and defuse them. With a generous amount of time, the bombs in Relapse always have static locations, meaning they’re the same every match. The video above shows how to reach both bombs in Relapse, but here’s an additional description below:

  • Bomb Location #1 – From the Underground Parking Lot Entry, head into the lobby and follow the green line that will lead you upstairs to Floor 3. On Floor 3, take the first left, where inside the Pediatric Reception in the middle, is the bomb that can be defused with the wire tool.
  • Bomb Location #2 – Leading directly from the Pediatric Reception, follow the red lines on the floor to exit via the skybridge, and then take the first left into the Radiology Registration room. Take the first right, and opposite the reception, will be the bomb that can be defused.

How to Rescue All of the Civilians in Relapse

civilians in relapse

There are only 11 civilians in Relapse, and while players might sigh with relief knowing that there are not so many hostages, and sigh with even more relief when they realize the suspects do not take hostages, they will have to understand that this mission has so many rooms and different floors, so finding all 11 civilians might be harder than you think. We advise arresting every civilian as you see them, but remember, some NPCs in scrubs uniforms are actually suspects in disguise, noted by the sidearm that they have on their hip. Make sure to check every room in a building before moving on to the next one, and try to keep count of how many civilians you have arrested to avoid confusion and backtracking. Check every room, including the bathrooms, and even corners. The civilian NPCs can often be unpredictable, and they might run away and hide to avoid danger, so just keep your eyes open and spam commands to try and listen to them, but this is an objective that should be completed last, so that civilians do not get in the way of an open combat zone.
