Flip Out is a challenge in Skate that starts near the Extravert Shop in Hedgemont. This challenge is made up of four goals, and players who want to complete them all will need to double flip trick the gap at the booth and body flip off the planter. This guide explains how to perform those tricks, and it will help players address every goal in Skate‘s Flip Out challenge.
It is recommended that Skate players use basic tricks when pursuing this challenge, as it will reset when a trick is missed. Additionally, players need to come into contact with all 11 bearings during an attempt.

Total Attempt Score (3,000)
To complete this goal, players must reach 3,000 points during an attempt. Since this challenge has no time limit, it is quite easy to address this task, as players can simply perform tricks until they have reached the designated score and then grab the challenge’s final bearing. The only caveat is that players must land all of their tricks, as the attempt and score will reset if they ever miss their board.
Double Flip Trick the Gap at the Booth
Players will encounter the booth just after collecting the fifth bearing, and they need to perform a double flip trick off its edge and land on the concrete seating that is across the gap. To do this, players must hold either a kickflip or a heelflip as they approach the booth’s edge, allowing the board to flip multiple times before landing on the seating. For full clarity, players can hold flip tricks by holding the right joystick up and diagonally to the left or up and diagonally to the right.
There is a yellow star in the air that marks the gap that players must cross with a double flip trick.
Body Flip Off the Planter
The planter is just after the ninth bearing, and players should begin by pressing up on the right joystick to ollie onto the concrete platform that is between the two ramps. Players should then ollie off the far end of the platform and hold the left or right trigger and down on the left joystick while airborne. This will cause the skater to back flip as they pass over the planter, and the goal will be marked as complete if they stick the landing.
There is a yellow circle in the air that marks the planter.
All the Above in an Attempt
Players will complete this objective if they reach 3,000 points, double flip trick the gap at the booth, and body flip off the planter before grabbing the final bearing. Again, this challenge is not timed, which means that Skate fans should have no trouble addressing all the goals in a single attempt.
