Description
Steam users have yet another free game to play, with this one up for grabs until September 19. Free Steam games are available on a fairly regular basis, though they’re a little unpredictable. The free games are typically not given away by Steam owner Valve, but rather by the publishers and developers of the games themselves. This unpredictability means Steam users need to constantly keep an eye out for free games if they want to snag them all, but it also adds an extra air of excitement to the proceedings.
As far as free game giveaways go, no one is reaping the benefits as much as PC gamers. PC gamers are able to get all kinds of free games in any given month thanks to the Steam free games and more predictable giveaways like the weekly Epic Games Store freebies. PC gamers can expect even more free games in the days and weeks ahead, and in the meantime, they can claim the latest free game that’s up for grabs.

Until September 19 at 12:00pm CST, Puzzle Chambers is free on Steam. For the uninitiated, Puzzle Chambers is a 2017 puzzle game that earned “Mostly Positive” from Steam users. In it, players wake up in a “mysterious place” where everyone has supernatural abilities. The goal is to unravel the mystery all the while solving “nearly 70” puzzles and interacting with the game’s interesting cast of characters. Puzzle Chambers is being given away for free to help promote the developer’s new game, Dreadwoods Gatekeeper, which is getting close to releasing its first demo.
Based on the Steam user reviews, it seems like Puzzle Chambers should be a solid pick for puzzle game fans, and since it’s completely free of charge, there’s no harm in everyone snagging it and giving it a try for themselves. The game can be completed in less than five hours, so it isn’t a huge time commitment either. Again, anyone interested needs to make sure that they claim Puzzle Chambers by the September 19 deadline or else they will miss their opportunity. The good news is anyone interested in the game can buy it for a mere $2.99 if they miss out on the free giveaway window.
