Developer Nintendo Cube has recently rolled out the new Version 2.1.0 update for Super Mario Party Jamboree, which adds official support for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game and also fixes a few bugs. The corrections made to the Switch 2 version even include one potentially game-breaking occurrence in which the “players are unable to progress the game when the rules explanation screen for Broozer Bash is displayed for a long time.” Additionally, minor bugs related to the camera, CPU, and performance were also squashed. For the Nintendo Switch 1 version of Super Mario Party Jamboree, other fixes were made, including one that prevented gamers from progressing after selecting “Play Again,” and another one that prevented gamers from progressing after a CPU starts moving in Mario’s Rainbow Castle.

With an average critic score of 81 on OpenCritic, Super Mario Party Jamboree is one of the best Mario Party games ever released, and it’s good to see it receiving regular updates. While no new content was introduced in this update, the title is likely to be much more stable and bug-free than before.

The update comes soon before the Nintendo Switch 2 upgraded version of Super Mario Party Jamboree is released. Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is set to be out on July 24, 2025 and will bring new, exclusive features to the already packed title on the new console.

Hopefully, the enhanced Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Party Jamboree will be a hit like the original version of the title was. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Super Mario Party Jamboree sold over 6.17 million units, making it the fastest-selling Mario Party game ever and the fifth best-selling title in the entire franchise, with potential to achieve an even higher place over time.
