To complete the Ascend Pharloom’s Crown quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong, players must learn all three of the Threefold Memory. One of them is the Architect’s Melody. Here’s where to find the Architect’s Melody location and how to solve its puzzle in Silksong.
To learn the Architect’s Melody in Silksong, players must enter Cogwork Core, then keep heading up to the music room. The way up is filled with a platforming maze on top of the puzzle that players must solve to learn the melody.
First, head to the central room in Choral Chambers, where players get the quest to collect three melodies in Silksong. From there, head down the hole to enter Cogwork Core.
Once below, go left, then continue the descent. Players can rest on the Silksong bench before starting this run as well.
Keep heading down until there’s an enemy in sight.
From the platform where the enemies are, keep going down until you see a cogwheel moving vertically. Do the pogo move in Silksong on the wheel, and use the momentum to boost Hornet up. Continue doing this until you can hook to the wall on the right.
Keep jumping from wall to wall until you reach a place to rest.
From the resting ledge, continue moving up to the ledge nearby. There will be a room to the right, but you can ignore it for now.
Instead, continue jumping to the left wall and keep ascending.
Eventually, you’ll arrive at a place with a door. Enter this door to reach another room. Keep heading left, then hang on the ring at the end to open the door above.
Wall jump through the passage, and you’ll arrive in another room. Hook to the hoop to move right until there’s a place to rest. Now, leap left and continue in that direction until you reach a place that you need to wall jump on again.
Ascend, then harpoon the ring to go right again. This time, a cogwheel will block the way, so you need to let go of the hoop, then jump to the other side. Afterwards, hook again to continue moving right.
On the right side, there are some walls to stick on. Move up on it until there’s another hoop that will lead you to the left. Leap off the ring before hitting the cogwheel, and you should land on a safe ledge. Once done resting, leap to the platform above, where some enemies are.
Journey right, focusing on another ascent. Use the walls and rings to once again reach a higher height.
When another hoop appears, hook to the right, then jump up to switch to the hoop above, which will lead you to the left. Before hitting the cogwheel obstacle, jump up and stick to the wall above.
Get ready to once again pogo on the cogwheels to reach enough height for the next ring.
Soon, you’ll arrive at a place where you can go up. Keep heading up, and you’ll be in the Architect’s Melody puzzle room.
