Description

The characters included in this article are those who will either unlock Conqueror’s Haki in the Final War or are those who already have it but just haven’t been shown to use it, causing speculation among fans.

Throughout the One Piece series, there has been a lot of debate about what the greatest power is. While Devil Fruits have always been the main power system and have the widest variety in terms of what they offer their users, Haki eventually took the top spot of being the most important power. Even though many incredibly powerful Devil Fruits exist in the world, one can only be a true top-tier fighter with Haki.

Among the various Haki forms, undoubtedly the strongest of them all is Conqueror’s Haki, which is a power that can’t be learned as only one in a million has to be born with it. Throughout One Piece, fans have seen that the strongest characters in the series are users of this power, so it only makes sense that some of the most important figures of the modern era will unlock this power later on as well.

Sanji Is A Fan-Favorite To Unlock Conqueror’s Haki In The Final Saga

Sanji is one of the most prodigious warriors ever introduced in One Piece. Despite being the cook of the Straw Hats, he is one of their main fighters as well, since he has been shown to take down some of the strongest villains that the heroes have faced. He is a masterful user of Armament and Observation Haki, and most fans believe that he will eventually unlock Conqueror’s Haki by the Final War.

Messing with a cook of the sea is a good way of getting yourself killed… Remember that well.

One of the best reasons to believe this to be the case is by looking at the crew that the Straw Hats mirror the most; the Roger Pirates. It has been explained that the difference in strength between Roger, Rayleigh, and Scopper was never too great, and that Roger’s wings have been shown to be masters at using Conqueror’s Haki. Seeing how Zoro has just unlocked this power, it would only make sense for Sanji to do so as well.

Loki’s Overall Power Is Destined To Be One Of The Greatest Ever

Elbaf

  • Loki must surely have this power.

The Giants of Elbaf are the most powerful race on the planet, which is why they are going to be essential in the Final War. The most common theory, which has been corroborated by the Elbaf mural as well, suggests that they will be led by Loki in the Final War, helping Luffy and all of his allies in the ultimate battle against Imu and the forces of the World Government.

I am the Sun God who will bring about the end of the world!

Lineage Factor is often a massive driver in what makes a character powerful in One Piece. Loki’s father, King Harald, was not only called the strongest monarch that Elbaf ever had, but he was one of the strongest characters in the history of One Piece, as he fought Rocks on equal footing and had some of the greatest Conqueror’s Haki ever. Because of this, it’s only natural for Loki to unlock this power in the Final War as well.

Dracule Mihawk Must Have Exceptional Haki To Become The Strongest Swordsman

The World’s Strongest Swordsman

One Piece, Chapter 49, “Storm”

  • Mihawk’s Haki is legendary.

For one to gain the title of ‘World’s Strongest Swordsman’, their Haki must truly be exceptional. Many fans believe that the one to hold this title before Mihawk was none other than Rocks D. Xebec, who has been confirmed to be arguably the strongest Conqueror’s Haki user of the old era. Because of this, it’s only natural to make the connection that Mihawk has the ability too, especially since he was able to make Yoru a Black Blade.

I am not the kind of fool who hunts rabbits with a cannon. You may have a reputation, but you’re still just a bunny.

Thematically, this makes perfect sense too. Mihawk stands as Zoro’s ultimate goal who he must eventually defeat to gain his coveted title, so it wouldn’t make sense if Zoro has Conqueror’s Haki and someone who has been called an equal to Shanks himself doesn’t. A Black Blade can only be made through persistent Haki imbuement, so while Mihawk may have gotten bored with being the strongest, he is surely a hidden user of Conqueror’s Haki.

Akainu Is The Strongest Admiral Who Is Surely A User Of This Power

The Red Dog of the World Government

First Appearance

One Piece, Chapter 397, “In Hopes of Reaching the Future”

Story Arc

Enies Lobby

The position of Fleet Admiral is reserved for the most important Marine of the age, and the one to hold this revered position in the current era is Akainu. He has always been known as the strongest and most dangerous Admiral with an exceptionally powerful Devil Fruit, but upon his ascension to become the Fleet Admiral, Akainu has made himself a prime candidate to become a user of Conqueror’s Haki.

Do not allow a single man to run! Destroy all evil! Evil cannot be forgiven!

One of the telltale signs for someone to be able use Conqueror’s Haki is unrivaled ambition, since that seems to be a common point of almost all users of this power. Akainu’s ambition is great, as he wishes to destroy all pirates and wipe out all evil from the world due to his belief in Absolute Justice. Moreover, looking at his high standing in the world, he is the perfect candidate for Conqueror’s Haki.

Monkey D. Dragon May Just Be The Strongest Character In The Series

The Great Revolutionary

One Piece, Chapter 100, “The Legend Has Begun”

  • Dragon is being hidden by Oda for a reason.

Of all the characters in One Piece, Monkey D. Dragon is the one that all fans just automatically agree has to have Conqueror’s Haki. Every previous point stated about users of this power applies to him more than anyone else, because he is not only the son of the greatest Marine of all time and the father of the reincarnation of Nika, both of whom are masters of this ability, but his ambition is arguably the greatest in the series.

There can be no happiness in a world where the undesirables are thrown away.

Thematically, this just makes perfect sense. Oda has often teased characters early on only to reveal their true powers much later, which has historically been the case with each Emperor of the Sea. Because of this, it can be seen that Dragon is the greatest example of this, as his power was first teased in Chapter 100 but still hasn’t been shown to this day, strongly hinting that Oda has something massive in store for him.

One Piece can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
