Dance of Knives Rogue Only Need One Button to Succeed in Diablo 4 Season 10

The cornerstone of this Rogue build in Diablo 4 Season 10, and the one skill players will be required to use, is Dance of Knives. The skill was added in update 2.0 with the release of Vessel of Hatred, and has quickly become one of the best skills for leveling in Diablo 4 ever since. This cutthroat skill for the Rogue fires knives at nearby enemies when channeled, giving the Rogue additional movement speed and dodge chance while scaling damage with the Rogue’s attack speed.a

Other Rogue Skills for Players Willing to Press More Than One Button

Of course, this build is completely playable with other skills as well, and can even benefit from supplementing the Dance of Knives skill by adding a few of the Rogue’s Subterfuge skills in rotation. Beyond Dance of Knives, players should prioritize skills like:

• Poison Trap
• Poison Imbuement
• Smoke Grenade
• Caltrops
• Concealment

Poison skills like Poison Trap and Posion Imbuement allow Dance of Knives to shred through enemies by softening them up with Poison damage over time. As such, it’s imperative to have the Aspect of Bursting Venom on this build to give Dance of Knives the chance to spawn a Poison Trap when Poison Imbued. Concealment helps provide the Rogue with Unstoppable, while Smoke Grenade and Caltrops are used to provide increased damage to Elites and Bosses.

Diablo 4 Season 10’s Chaos Armor Makes Dance of Knives Rogue an S-Tier Build

The Dance of Knives Rogue launches up the meta rankings in Diablo 4 Season 10 largely due to its use of Chaos Armor to give the build access to some fantastic Unique combos. Two Uniques essential for this build are Fists of Fate and Scoundrel’s Leathers, which can fill a variety of gear slots, but are ideal as either a chest piece or boots. Fists of Fate gives the Rogue’s attacks a chance to randomly deal 200-300% increased damage, which works wonders for Dance of Knives, since it is constantly firing off attacks while channeled. Meanwhile, Scoundrel’s Leathers support the Rogue’s Poison Trap by spawning an additional Death Trap every 10 seconds after being cast.

With this setup, all players have to do is hit the Dance of Knives button and the Aspect of Bursting Venom gives them the chance to spawn a Poison Trap, which then spawns a Death Trap, while constantly firing knives at enemies thanks to the Aspect of Star Shards. While Dance of Knives Rogues may struggle a bit against the hardest Diablo 4 Lair Bosses, they should be able to breeze through leveling in Season 10 and stand a strong chance against the Pit and Infernal Hordes with a single button press.
