How to Get Mite Fuzz in Grounded 2
Mite Fuzz is obtained by killing Lawn Mites in Grounded 2. Lawn Mites are small, red jumping insects that are one of the very first creatures players will encounter after selecting their playable character in Grounded 2 and stepping out of the Ominent facility. When killed, every Lawn Mite drops one Mite Fuzz, which can be obtained by interacting with its carcass after it is killed.
Unlike Red Ants and Aphids, Lawn Mites are hostile insects that will attack on sight, which means that as long as players enter their range of vision, they will give chase.
Lawn Mites often spawn in groups and can easily swarm the player to death if caught unaware. One-on-one, they are not a problem, but when gathered together, they can be somewhat tricky to handle, especially at higher difficulty settings in Grounded 2.
Lawn Mite Locations in Grounded 2
The hard part when it comes to farming Lawn Mites is actually finding them. They spawn sporadically throughout Brookhollow Park, making target farming them hard without knowing exactly where to go. Here are a few early game locations where they can be reliably found.
Behind Ranger Station: Snackbar is a rear tunnel that leads out to a pond. You access this tunnel in order to enter the facility for the first time. There are seven or eight Lawn Mites in this tunnel.
East of Ranger Outpost: Snackbar, there is a dirt path with a few Lawn Mites on it.
Just to the north of the same Ranger Outpost is another group of Lawn Mites.
East of the northern part of the Snackbar is a fourth gathering.
Like all creatures in the game, Lawn Mites respawn every 1-3 in-game days. While the day-night cycle of Grounded 2 progresses naturally, you can speed this up by crafting a Lean-To and sleeping till the next day.
