If you’ve ever come across a random pile of sticks and dirt when playing Palia, chances are you’ve probably stumbled across a Rummage Pile, and you might have done so without realizing it. Although not a new feature, Palia‘s Elderwood expansion brought more Rummage Pile spawn locations to the game, giving you more chances to find the goodies hidden within. However, if you’re relatively new to Singularity 6’s cozy sim MMO, you might be wondering where to find Rummage Piles in Palia and what they are for.
The True Treasure is a Discovery Quest in the Prismbeard Treasure questline. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing the quest in Palia.
Rummage Piles left behind by chapaas can contain all kinds of collectible items, such as furniture recipes, rewards, and materials, but they are also sometimes necessary to grab quest items to trigger specific quests. Therefore, it can be helpful to know where to look for these mysterious gatherables and how often you can find them.
Where To Find Rummage Piles In Palia
In Palia, there are several possible random locations where you can find Rummage Piles in the Elderwood, Bahari Bay, and Kilima Valley. However, their daily location is the same for all players. It’s possible to scavenge one Rummage Pile in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay, plus up to two Rummage Piles in the Elderwood per real-life daily reset (4am UTC).
Although their daily location is the same for all players, there are specific areas on the map where you can typically find possible Rummage Pile spawn locations, as follows:
Kilima Valley Rummage Pile Locations
Rummage Piles around Kilima Valley look like a big pile of sticks and typically spawn around the Leafhopper Hills and Mirror Pond Ruins areas of the map, not far from the Night Sky Temple. If you scout the area, chances are you’ll probably come across these beaver-like chapaa creations. Some possible spawn locations include:
By the dock at point C-8 on the map, as pictured above.
In the fields east of the Daiya Family Farm around E-5 on the map.
To interact with a Rummage Pile in Kilima Valley or Bahari Bay, approach it and press the ‘Loot’ button to empty the pile and get a random reward. You’ll need to use the hoe to dig up Rummage Piles located in the Elderwood.
Bahari Bay Rummage Pile Locations
In Bahari Bay, Rummage Piles look like they’ve been washed ashore, being made up of wooden planks, posts, and seaweed. Typically, you can find Rummage Piles around the Coral Shores and Beachcomber Cove areas of the map, with some of the possible spawn locations being:
On the beach near the Coral Shores fast travel station around point H-4 on the map.
On the beach south of The Old Lighthouse at Beachcomber Cove, specifically at point G-8, as pictured above.
Elderwood Rummage Pile Locations
Lastly, you can find two Rummage Piles hidden anywhere across Palia‘s Elderwood map every real-world day. Like other Rummage Piles, they appear in the same locations for all players each day. However, Rummage Piles in the Elderwood look like circular piles of dirt containing sticks, stones, or blue mushrooms. Sometimes, there’s also a visible artifact bag on the top. Some of the possible Rummage Pile spawn locations in the Elderwood include:
On the ledge above the path east of the Red Blossom Cave at point E-7 on the map, as pictured above.
