UV Bars are one of the most broken Consumables in Dying Light: The Beast, and if used correctly, they can also become a reliable weapon to survive the vicious attacks from Virals and Volatiles during the nights at Castor Woods. UV Bars work in the same way that any throwable weapon, and create a wide Area that repels Biters, Virals, and Volatiles for a few seconds. They can also be used to burn the face of zombies grabbing at them, like Bitters and Volatiles, and can be extremely useful to avoid certain death in Night Missions.
If players want to survive long enough to exact their revenge on the evil Baron ruling the lands, they will need every tool in Kyle Crane’s Arsenal, and finding these UV Light Sticks is one of the best ways to accomplish that. Here’s the location for this tool in Dying Light: The Beast.
How To Farm UV Light Sticks in Dying Light: The Beast
UV Bars are a single-use Legendary Item, that players can get if they look around Castor Woods, but to avoid unnecessary trouble for players, we’ve put out a list of places where they can find these items and farm them when the loot resets every day. The place players should look for is the Island Tunnel Convoy, on the Asylum Island zone. The place might be either crawling with infested or defended by Human Enemies, so players should be careful and clear it out before proceeding.
Players should look for a Blue Door, covered by a wooden crate that impedes them from reaching it. Break the crate, the lockpick the door to access a small maintenance room, where there’s a Boomer that will explode once it spots the player. Step back, and use a Throwing Knife to force it to explode without causing harm. Then, access the room and look to the left to pick the UV Bar from a locker.
Right above this tunnel, there’s a Safe Zone players can use to rest for an entire day and reset the Loot in the Tunnel, which includes the UV Bar they can collect from the locker inside. So the process is quite simple:
Clear the tunnel.
Open the door, and kill the zombie inside.
Pick the Uv Bar.
Climb up, enter the Safe Zone, rest until Next Morning.
Repeat to farm.
Sadly, there’s no blueprint for crafting the UV Bar, but players can get a lot of them by farming in this spot. Just be advised that there’s a chance for the Tunnel to have an Abomination roaming around, and if that happens, players should consider resetting again before even facing this enemy, which will have them spending lots of resources before they can bring it down. Unless, of course, players are well equipped with some powerful Legendary Weapons and can destroy them with ease.
