Xbox is celebrating the highly anticipated release of Grounded 2 with a unique giveaway, offering players the chance to win a massive 10-foot red ant gaming plush. The survival action-adventure game is at the top of many players’ wishlists, with its early access launch just around the corner on July 29. Now, fans need to act fast, as one lucky winner will be playing Grounded 2 in style.
Announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June, Grounded 2 will maintain the core mechanics of the original survival title while introducing additional character archetypes, more building tools, and a co-op mode. In the game, players will find themselves shrunk down to miniature size, and must find a way to survive in Brookhollow Park while facing danger around every turn. Several editions of Grounded 2 will be available on release day, with the massive $39.99 Minotaurs, Myrmidons, and Mants: Oh My! Founder’s Edition including additional skins, a digital artbook, the game’s soundtrack, and more. Now, fans have the chance to show their love for the unique title in a whole new way, while also giving their living room an unexpected makeover.

As announced on the Xbox website, fans can now enter a giveaway to win a giant 10-foot red ant plush in celebration of Grounded 2‘s release. One of the new features coming to the game is the ability to ride certain insects, including the Red Ant Buggy, and now, one lucky player will get the chance to do so in real life while they enjoy the Obsidian title. To enter, fans need to follow the official Xbox account on Twitter and repost the sweepstakes promotional post containing #Grounded2Sweepstakes. The promotion ends on August 31, so those wanting a creepy new addition to their gaming space need to act fast. Additionally, those wanting to see the plush in real life will have the chance to do so at the Xbox FanFest event at Gamescom on August 20.
In a June interview, game director and Obsidian Entertainment co-founder Chris Parker shared more about Grounded 2‘s story and roadmap. The title will be set two years after the original game and will feature the same four playable characters, but will be more narrative-driven and include a much larger map for players to explore. While Grounded saw almost monthly updates during its early access period, Grounded 2 will have a more relaxed patch schedule, with major content drops coming every four to five months.
While the game is currently slated to be released for PC and Xbox Series X/S, Grounded 2 may eventually make the leap to PS5. The first title eventually launched on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, leading many to believe that the sequel will do the same.
